Breonna Taylor protests: Suspect in cop shootings ID’d, Louisville sees nearly 100 arrests after grand jury decision

The Louisville Metro Police Department announced Thursday nearly 100 arrests were made overnight amid demonstrations following a grand jury decision to charge only one officer in connection to the police operation that killed Breonna Taylor, but not her death.

A suspect accused in shooting two Louisville police officers during protests Wednesday evening has also been identified. Larynzo Johnson, 26, has been charged with wanton endangerment and assault of a police officer. He will be arraigned Friday.

Shots rang out when Louisville police officers were conducting crowd control operations at Broadway and Brook Street “in response to a large crowd that had set fires, caused property damage and failed to disperse after being warned,” according to the post-arrest complaint filed in Jefferson County.

Here it is again...

Here are the facts about St. Breonna...

She was on jailhouse recordings running drugs for her boyfriend.

She was under surveillance for months. The raid was not based on some random, hasty decision.

The warrant was for HER car and HER apartment. This was not a case of cops hitting the wrong house.

The police announced themselves before entering the apartment. It was not a no-knock raid.

The boyfriend shot first, wounding an officer. That is when the police started shooting.

You won’t hear any of this from the lamestream media. What is wrong with the city of Louisville that they paid any amount of money to her family? Now criminals are victims and police are the bad guys.

Destroying the police is a major goal of communists.

What? But not attempted murder?

Great. Now the cops are going to riot. Buh-bye, Louisville.

Has Kamala told Larynzo how proud she is of him yet?

When are people going to get fed up with politicians shelling out millions of taxpayer dollars to the families of dead thugs? I hope productive, working people move out of these cities so that there is nothing left but criminals and bums.

In many of these cities, productive working people moved out decades ago. I’m not familiar with Louisville itself, but, I would bet that the same thing happened there. So you end up with a city run by Democrats, who have attorneys who advise that big payouts are preferable to going to court over the issue.

For wanton endangerment, it’s the lowest form of felony...max sentence is five years, but minimum is 12 months. Here, the burden is upon the prosecutor to establish that they were simply reckless in behavior. If the training book says you do X and Y, and you go beyond that extent...it could be considered reckless.

I’d pause here and wait for the explanation in court on how he was reckless. Jury is the key in this whole discussion.

This isn’t going to do much for big events in these cities, such as the Derby in Louisville. People ought to know that people will be targeted as they are leaving these events or having a night out afterwards. Even the Iowa State Fair has had incidents where people have been attacked leaving the fairgrounds.

Wow, I haven’t heard about that. Maybe St. Breonna’s family will share some of their ill-gotten millions with that guy’s family.

What do you want to bet they will make sure the jury is composed of people they think will convict?

Uhhhh...wait.
Her BF used a firearm to resist the warrant?
And his CH got shot in the return fire.
And died?

And the perp isn’t charged with murder in the commission of a firearm felony?

Portland, take note...nevermind, you will not. You are too stubborn and stupid to realize your doing the opposite of what needs to be done.

You need MORE Police not LESS. MORE FUNDING, not less. More Funding = better trained Police.

Also, Portland, don’t let violent rioters go 20 minutes after you arrest them so they can just go out and do it again.

Portland leaders are idiots.

Under the new liberal normals, cops are not allowed to defend themselves.

That also applies to every other person other than liberal rioters.
