Maintaining its proud commitment to printing all the news that will divide Americans by race, sex, and creed, the New York Times published a list of what it claimed were the 922 of the most powerful people in America while claiming that only 20% of them are people of color.
The term people of color is already ambiguous enough with white professors, grad students, and NAACP presidents claiming to be black. . .
The Times claimed that only 112 of the 431 House of Representatives members are people of color. It lists Rep. Rashida Tlaib as a person of color, while listing Rep. Justin Amash as white. Tlaibs parents and Amashs father came from Arab towns and neighborhoods in Israel. Amashs mother came from Syria. They both have traditional Arab names.
How is Tlaib a person of color while Amash is white?

The joke on the Left is that Mohammad and company highly prized whiteness, their whiteness in particular, Mohammads in particular particular, and considered the mere possibility of having a black leader a worst case scenario.
“The Times claimed that only 112 of the 431 House of Representatives members are people of color.”
Considering that works out to be ~26% of the total in Congress are “people of color” and the overall percentage of “people of color” in the US is 23.7%.......They are OVER REPRESENTED!
So how exactly does “The Times” claim of “only” figure into it?
Exactly. Liberals are all good people of color, and conservatives are all evil whites. That is what the left and their media custodians want us to believe. We need to fight back and RESIST instead of curling up in a fetal position when the dividers attempt to do any of this.
For the Left there are essentially 2 groups — Good Guys and Bad Guys.
They will shoehorn whomever they want into one box or the other. They talk about skin color, but it’s the ideology they care about.
I have to say, he does look white and she does look...off-white.
BTW, guess its ok and even great, to use POC, but bad to say colored person (alert NAACP).
If an Arab converts one way or the other, does he also change color?
Indeed.
Wait for the name-calling to start flying when commie libs find out their POC is conservative.
Chris Salcedo, on Newsmax, annoyingly refers to himself as a person of color. What? He looks like a full-blooded, European Spaniard whose grandparents made a brief generational stopover in Puerto Rico.
Your Dad was lucky to get here. Two years before he arrived Congress passed the Immigration Act cutting the amount of people from Southern Europe and Asia severely.
Spain is one of the whitest countries in Europe in my experience. Even has a lot of Brits living there.
The Arab / Saracen influence is mainly in the South. It’s a far whiter country then the US. It’s absurd that Iberians have racial preferences in the United States. Is the King of Spain a victim of American racism because we wouldn’t let his ancestors take over North America?
What about Portugal? As white as Spain, or less white?
Never been there, but I suspect MORE white since less Arab influence.
Just my opinion from being in Spain and knowing some of the history.
Daniel does it again with his stellar intellect and powers of persuasion.
Why people in 2020 are talking about Skin tones and races?
Do they know humans probably originated in Olduvai gorge in East Africa and gradually spread in Asia and Europe? Over millions of years our skin color was a result of how sunny was the climate of our ancestors.
The sooner we switch to merit based definition of humans, the better of the world will be. At one time my apartment was just 4 blocks away from where Richard Speck murdered so many nurses and my wife was a nurse. So it hit home and Speck looked fair skinned in all his photo's. And I had to drive through riot infested streets in Chicago after MLK was killed. Yeah skin tone is no evidence of character.
And 99% of Americans have mixed country ancestries. I bet your family has some northern European mixed in. Which makes you a bonafide American. My kid's mother is a red head with Irish+English ancestry, so they are real Americans as well.
We’re all of a color.
