. The report details how Biden's business received a $3.5 million payment from Baturina in February 2014, which was described to be for "consultancy" work.

Consulting? On what? What is Hunter Biden an expert on except cocaine and hookers.

Fake News.

Hunter Biden’s windfall had nothing to do with his father’s office.

Everyone knows that Russian oligarchs have long been in the habit of handing fortunes to random American cokehead strip-joint regulars.

Whatever business Hunter, a private citizen, has with Russia, legal or not, is none of our business unless it effects trade or political actions between the countries

I didn't see a sarcasm tag so I presume you believe that statement. Does anybody really think that the wife of the mayor of a city in Russia would give 3.5 million dollars to Hunter if his last name wasn't Biden? Of course not.

Hunter got the money in order to influence what Joe Biden, the Vice President of the United States did with respect to Russia. That's not good. In fact, it is probably a crime.

At a minimum Joe and Hunter were colluding with the Russians to get money for Hunter to spend on crack cocaine and prostitutes. Or Hunter was getting paid to influence his father. Or Hunter and Joe Biden were getting paid for something, and Hunter was just the bag man.

Trying to claim that the transaction had nothing to do with Joe Biden is simply not credible. By that test, no money would be exchanged in a drug deal if Harry delivered the drugs but his sister Sally got the bag of cash.

I do believe old Hunter was still a Naval Reserve Officer when he received this payoff, which was shortly before they drummed his ass out for that nasty cocaine habit.

So no, he was not a private citizen at the time and I hope that the FBI and NCIS are both very interested in what type of consulting this officer needed to do for the Russians in order to receive that payout.

“I didn’t see a sarcasm tag so I presume you believe that statement.”

I wasn’t being sarcastic. Everything I said, from a legal standpoint, was true. If he is accepting money to launder for someone in Russia, we have no jurisdiction and we have no obligation to assist Russia with their criminal problems. Until it becomes a commerce situation, there is nothing we are obligated to do, or they either. It’s none of our business if it happens over there in Russia. It is considered a criminal act and just like the states, there is no federal jurisdiction.

The only request for investigation was on Joe, not Hunter, for threatening to withdraw $1.5M in earmarked funds by the US which includes Congress, the representatives of Obama’s cabinet, and the US citizen’s money to possibly protect his son. The money being talked about here in question was Russia’s. And Russia is not the Ukraine.

“Hunter got the money in order to influence what Joe Biden, the Vice President of the United States did with respect to Russia. That’s not good. In fact, it is probably a crime.”

If you can prove it, it could be. But coming up with iron clad evidence which no one has been able to do, is going to be tough if not impossible. And it’s been tried during the last election.

“Trying to claim that the transaction had nothing to do with Joe Biden is simply not credible.”

Okay, prove it was creditable. Show me who delivered what drugs in the US and I would be the first one to wish someone arrested. In the US, everyone is considered innocent until proven otherwise. And in capital crimes, which this isn’t, it only takes beyond reasonable doubt. There is no evidence I know of for your statements. And I worked for the Department of the Army and the DOD in investigations for 12+ years and still have friends there. Show me what you have in the way of evidence, and not speculation, and I’ll even tell you where to send it or what office to talk to. But everything you mentioned to back your point, was speculation, not the uncertainty you wish it to be.

According to the Washington Examiner:

Biden’s son Hunter, now 49, joined the Navy Reserves in 2012 after receiving two special waivers, one because he was three years over the age limit of 40 and another for a “drug-related incident when he was a young man.” A month into his service, he tested positive for cocaine during a random drug test and was discharged.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/biden-tough-on-drugs-policies-did-not-apply-to-his-childrens-marijuana-and-cocaine-offenses

He wasn’t in long enough due to the, what I think was, a general discharge under dishonorable conditions. In that month, and it was done fast and quiet, he wouldn’t have been involved with the Russian government due to commissioned requirements or in place needs. He was still wet behind the ears and wasn’t let off the leash yet. Especially with a positive golden flow and a history.

That's a novel interpretation of 18 U.S.C. § 1956. Perhaps you should get to work as a defense lawyer for the many people who have been convicted of money laundering on behalf of foreign entities.

It may impact the real neutrals. We have a son and two nephews who fit that reality.

They don’t care for wealthy elites breaking the laws of this country and getting by with it.

Unfortunately, most of us feel that most Nyers will just ignore these realities like they do every election.

Many good NYers are voting with their feet and fleeing NYC.

That’s more shocking than the “alleged” activities.

1. NY isn’t in play but I will vote so they can’t cry about the “popular” vote.

2. Staten Island is my home and has been since I was born.

Nobody dictates where I live.

My neighborhood is still great as is the whole south shore side of the island.

Let brooklyn and manhattan burn.

I have a good view of it from Fort Wadsworth :)
