I’m a female, and I don’t trust her either. My gut tells me this is going to come back to bite us if she is chosen. I’d prefer the Cuban female judge from FL to this one. She’s going to be too corporate in attitude, too establishment and she’s married to another lawyer, that’s one too many lawyers for me.

Exactly. She is all about "the fambly" and "the chilluns". She is woke with a designer inter-racial family. She is all about "the children". She will contort any decision if it benefits "the children". Judge Jeanine Pirro would be 1000 times better than Barrett. Barrett beats the one-note drum for "the children". Believe me, if onerous gun control could be construed to help "the children" Barrett would be all for it.

In my lifetime, there has been only one woman politician/judge I fully trusted and that's Nikki Haley, haha just kidding! Actually, it's Margaret Thatcher, who might have been to the right of Reagan.

The judge from Miami is best at this current time for many reasons. I’m already sick of seeing the handmaid costume all over the place. Plus, in politics, Florida should be helped. Bloomberg just paid off 32,000 felons in order to vote. You think any are republicans? Doubtful!

I have not seen such a blatant chauvinism and in a very very long time. I can’t believe your completely idiotic and asinine statement is being supported even by women. It’s disgusting really.

I am glad newcomers have been joining because your comment and its support shows how old and outdated some of the members are getting here.

You can tell when some of the profile names have to do with culture from the 1930s or 40s.

Smh

Though that is true woman can be touched in heart much easier then men that does not mean they cannot think with their minds as well....in fact that brings to the table softer side to what some hardened men would not see without a womans presence in the fray. More importantly is the will to apply the law as it's written and seeking wisdom where it isn't clear.

"Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from HER is better than gain from silver and HER profit better than gold, SHE is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with HER. ....Proverbs 3:13-18

This was a ruling on the Governor’s legal authority to impose a lockdown.

It was about the state and Federal Constitution, not feelings. She was Scalia’s intern and is a strick Constitutionalist with many rulings and opinions.

Women on SCOTUS never have worked well for conservatives. That includes S.D. O’connor.

And ANYONE who was/is in favor of the lockdown is not a patriot.

Check out her paper on capital punishment, https://scholarship.law.nd.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1523&context=law_faculty_scholarship

Has an odd comment about things that Catholics should be against, al forms of killing including abortion, capital punishment and nuclear war. Does that mean she’ll recuse herself in a case about using nukes to defend the USA???
