Woman accused of mailing ricin to Trump identified as Pascale Ferrier

The Canadian woman accused of sending a letter containing ricin to President Trump has been identified as Pascale Ferrier of Quebec, authorities said.

Ferrier was taken into custody Sunday by US Customs and Border Protection agents at the Peace Bridge border crossing near Buffalo, New York, where she is expected to appear in federal court to face charges.

She was supposed to appear in court Monday, but her appearance was delayed until Tuesday afternoon, according to a spokesperson for the US Attorney’s Office, according to the CBC.

Fascinating...I agree with you-one of the things I love about this site, and has made me a monthly member for many years, is the rich knowledge that our fellow Freepers bring to us.

There are experts here, no doubt. You may be one of them...:)

They may not come out and say it, but you get an idea they aren’t BS artists after a while. We have a variety of experts on finance, energy, medicine, archeology, military, aviation, travel, cooking, history, music, literature, religion, sports, politics (everyone is an expert on that here) and so on...

We used to have a guy I had a great deal of respect for, and he left because I think he got a little fed up with some people, as happens on here. I cannot recall his Freepname, but...he seemed to know the energy sector VERY well, and I learned a lot from him. He understood the oil industry...I suspected he was a geologist. I could just tell.

I love SunkenCiv’s threads on archeology, I have learned a lot and his threads have sent me off down roads to educate myself.

And the witty humor. Gad, the creativity...people just say things that make me snort aloud when I read it.

I have been lucky. I have met a good number of Freepers in person, nearly all the DC Chapter folks, who I miss terribly, went to a few dozen counter protests over about a decade, got to go to the Free Republic Convention in Washington one year, and traveled eight hours to go to the wake and funeral of a special Freeper...Dr. Raoul.

So...yeah. I have come to love this place. I live in a blue state, and even though all my friends (save one) are conservatives, I don’t get to talk with people as much as I would like to these day, especially with all this damned COVID-19 garbage.

I also enjoy storytelling and writing, and this has let me hone that skill. My posts are entirely too long for most Freepers, and I get a lot of good-natured “TL/DR” responses. Well, I can’t change that. I still have trouble using LOL as opposed to Laugh Out Loud!

Anyway, I enjoyed your last post. When you talked about a tincture, it reminded me of how Vanilla Extract is created.

Thank you for your reply as it was great reading. More often than not when I read some of the headlines I jump to the commentaries in order to find out what other Freepers think as this usually provides me with a much better picture of what really may be going on. A good example was the other day when I read that Bloomberg spent a ton of money, paying fines for criminals in Florida who could not vote unless their fines were paid up, what in turn would free up a considerable amount of votes for the socialists.

I made the comment that Bloomberg perhaps was trying to compete with Soros. Well one of the Freepers replied, asking if I considered that Bloomberg was just laundering money for good old Georgy Boy what was a great thought. I wouldn’t know the mechanics behind such a deal but no doubt that Bloomberg and Soros are old hands when it comes to such transaction. Well lets hope for the best and that the election will favor the only hope we got, Trump. Take care.

I feel much the same way. I admit that, I simply cannot research the detail of everything under the sun, and I appreciate Freepers who can lay out some context for me to consider.

Much the same reason I love the little five minute videos over at Prager University...for a crash course on things I know little about, they are a good start.

As a matter of fact, going over right now to see if there is anything new...:)
