Forget Election Day in Michigan. A state judge has ruled that ballots can be counted 14 days later.

Another day, another judge unilaterally revising election rules. Michigan law says absentee votes are due by 8 p.m. on Nov. 3. But last week a state judge ordered officials to keep tallying ballots that arrive up to 14 days late, provided they bear a postmark of Nov. 2 or earlier.

This probably means Michigan won’t have timely election results in November, unless the presidential race is a blowout. If ballots are mailed Nov. 2, there’s little excuse for the U.S. Postal Service to deliver them 14 days later. The USPS has told states that most first-class mail arrives in two to five days, and it advises voters to give their ballots at least a week to arrive. But given two weeks of new leeway, thousands of voters might delay sending ballots until the last minute.

The lawsuit was brought by the Michigan Alliance for Retired Americans, with help from the progressive group Democracy Docket, which is a partner of the official Democratic apparatus in Washington. The Michigan Attorney General’s office has said it won’t appeal the decision. Judge Cynthia Stephens, the Democratic appointee who issued last week’s preliminary injunction, wrote that she thought the ballot deadline could be kicked 14 days “without imposing a meaningful inconvenience to the state.”

During Michigan’s August primary, more than 6,400 ballots were rejected for tardiness, Judge Stephens said: “In one instance, a ballot that was destined for the clerk’s office in Wyandotte, Michigan, was routed out of state, to Illinois, before being delivered (late) to its intended address.” Given such delays, she wrote that “the choice to return a ballot by mail has been effectively removed from the voter.”

Really? Michigan clerks are scheduled to begin mailing out blank ballots this week, on Sept. 24. That’s 40 days before Nov. 3.

Why not give until April?

This way people can vote late and send in their taxes at the same time

Voting should be in person, with ID, and on election day only. Inconvenient? A person should have to make time to vote if he wants to vote.

People make time for things not nearly as important.

The AG won’t sue but, since the Court has altered LEGISLATION, the Legislature should file an appeal.
They have standing according to “harm”.

Oh, wait...they are EFFING hiding and not in session.

Two weeks after the election? Why not 2 months. Or 2 years. This judge just overrode the written law which explicitly stated 8pm election day as the deadline. What is the point of legislation with judges arbitrarily rewriting laws to suit their immediate political purpose?

Why bother electing a legislature when any judge can simply issue new laws at her whim?

The state judge will be overturned. But first we have to confirm ACB for the empty SCOYUS seat Same thing with Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

Two weeks after the election? Why not 2 months. Or 2 years.

Two weeks is the cutoff specified by federal law to certify the election.

They want to go about their fraud in a relaxed manner. Democrat corruption runs deep and arrogant.

Would the AG’s of other States have standing? After all, these BS rulings are holding everyone else up.

what justification did the judge give for such a draconian decision? Is there any avenue to overturn these decisions by SCOTUS?

The Trump campaign, state Republican Party and a whole army of concerned citizens will appeal. This is a federal matter. You cant have every blue state create their own election day which clearly flaunts the constitution. That’s why filling in the empty SCOTUS seat before the elections is so essential.

It’s Tuesday September 22, 2020

Good Tuesday morning, Americans.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fF1lqEQFVUo

Who has support nationally and internationally? Who funds worldwide and domestically? Who has support from the powerful to the not so powerful? Who has international agency support and domestic agency support? Who has foreign government support? Who is beyond questioning from our government? Who can destabilize/depopulate any place world-wide including The United States of America?

What HAPPENS when the 2 most EVIL individuals in the world ARE Americans?

nothing

1. George Soros
2. Bill Gates

Let that sink in, citizens of this wonderful republic.

I’m from Michigan and I heard that Republicans are going to file an appeal but we will see how that all goes.

Due to 6400 ballots rejected for being late during our Aug primary.

SOS mailed out 7.7 million ballot applications few months ago.

So 6400 late ballots out of millions that made it on time for primary is the reason to delay for 14 days.

I have a date stamp, 10,000 ballots and a list of deceased or missing voters sitting in my trunk. DNC forever!

Did I mention that all the ballots are straight Democrat tickets?

“PA, MI and WI all rulings like this. Wonder why?”

NC is next, if it hasn’t done so already. Any swing state, controlled by Democrats, which Trump won in 2016. In case it wasn’t already obvious this is why the 2018 elections, which went so poorly despite a lot of false hope, were so important.

If the Democrats can’t ride this massive wave of fraud to victory (but of course they can, and will), not just at the Presidential level but throughout the entire ballot, it would require the most ineptitude in their history.
