It was the morphine talking.
I find it impossible to believe a highly experienced jurist with some 60 years in the law, would use the word installed when she absolutely knew the actual word was inaugurated.
In any case, Bloomberg's candidacy barely lasted longer than Kirk's funeral.
It’s as believable as Ruth saying after graduating #1 in her Columbia Law School class NO NYC Law firms would hire her.
Any investigative journalist worth their salt would easily find many many female attorneys hired in NYC during this time period.

I just googled the end of life and dying of pancreatic cancer patients. There is no way she was lucid enough to make any comment about anything. Palliative care administers drugs that make it non painful in a patients dying moments. This could be days or weeks before the end. I call bull on the deathbed plea (statement).
I’m sure was mumbling all kinds of strange things just like old Joe does.
Super clever comment, thanks!
“Is it hot in here?”
I don’t believe she said it... RBG WAS NOT the kind of person so play “elites are above the law” CARD. That’s to opposite of everything she stood for her whole life.
If ‘who replaced her - and when’ had been her concern - she had access to reporters and powerful people who would have been more than happy to get that information out to the public.
Also, she had months knowing her days were numbered. This wasn’t a car accident surprise to a young woman...she knew she was dying. She knew how to write (beautifully) and she could have gotten this message out - beyond the hearsay of one granddaughter...
And, as Tucker says, it doesn’t meet the ‘we’re human’ test...
I’m sorry her granddaughter tarnished her reputation...
please sent TOtenburg and the rest of those miserable former journalists at NOR. They make a mockery of NPR. God they stink.
