Biden reveals his high priority for gun control Jumped when 2 deputies shot to condemn 'weapons of war'

After two Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies were shot and critically wounded on Saturday, Joe Biden warned, “Weapons of war have no place in our communities." And within just hours of the attack, Biden tweeted in praise of the original bans on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, which lasted from 1994 to 2004. “These bans saved lives, and Congress should never have let them expire,” he wrote.

A handgun, not an assault rifle, was used to shoot the deputies. But it seems that Biden never misses an opportunity to deceptively complain about “weapons of war.”

WHAT? Once again, rip van byeDUHn is lying or more likely unaware of the results of the "bans". Immeasurable results over ten years rip.

"If the ban had any effect, one would think that it would reduce the number of murders committed with rifles. But the percentage of firearm murders that were committed with rifles was at 4.8% prior to the ban starting in September 1994, and averaged 4.9% from 1995 to 2004. In the 10 years after the ban, the figure averaged just 3.9%. This pattern is the opposite of what gun control advocates predicted."

But, per Mark Twain: "No amount of evidence will ever persuade and idiot(s)." Especially those with an agenda.

Biden tweeted in praise of the original bans on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, which lasted from 1994 to 2004.

That legislation helped sweep the Democrats from power after a 40-year majority in congress, House and Senate. A sitting house-speaker (Tom Foley) de-elected - unprecedented.

Democrats weren't campaigning when they rammed it through but were deeply entrenched, and then suddenly weren't. So go ahead Joe, keep plugging it.

This shooting is all on the demon-rats. All they have to do is keep supplying gun from China to ANTIFA/BLM, have them shoot people and then demand gun control. All demon-rat set ups!
Just like ANTIFA/BLM setting fire to everything and then cry global warming.
Demon-rats are truest EVIL.

“weapons of war”

“assault weapons”

LOL

They always need a catchy emotional term to describe things. A label for their idea and one for those that oppose their idea.

Bumper sticker politics.

Handgun....

All the Dems know is it’s the thing that makes a loud bang and a bright flash that pushes something out of one end.

But a dwarf or a Spike Lee undersized killer with a handgun should not make all the law abiding families at home give up the 2nd Amendment. What hysteria. Again.

Beto O’Rourke hasn’t even been named the 2021 Gun Confiscation Czar yet. November isn’t over.

Gun control laws don’t reduce the number of evil and stupid people.

Legal gun owners do that.

It’s all BS. “Weapons of war” sounds more scary to snowflakes. They will ban pea shooters, given the opportunity.

Joe Biden's constitutionally indefensible gun control campaign promises aside, patriots are reminded of the following about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers as they pertain to 2nd Amendment (2A) protections and peacetime federal penal laws.

First, hypothetically speaking, if you take away 2A, why not take away 1st Amendment too, it remains that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the unconstitutionally big federal government the specific power to regulate our basic protections.

In fact, the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, the main author of the 14th Amendment (14A), had clarified that, until the time of 14A, the states had never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to make peacetime penal laws, not even for murder.

"Our Constitution never conferred upon the Congress of the United States the power - sacred as life is, first as it is before all other rights which pertain to man on this side of the grave - to protect it in time of peace by the terrors of the penal code within organized states; and Congress has never attempted to do it. There never was a law upon the United States statute-book to punish the murderer for taking away in time of peace the life of the noblest, and the most unoffending, as well, of your citizens, within the limits of any State of the Union [emphasis added]. The protection of the citizen in that respect was left to the respective States, and there the power is to-day.” —Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe. (See bottom half of third column.)

Regarding 14A as it affects 2A, consider that Bingham had included 2A when he read the Bill of Rights as examples of enumerated protections that 14A applies to the states.

John Bingham, Congressional Globe. (See 2nd Amendment (Article II) about in middle of 2nd column.)

IRONICALLY, 14A gives Congress the power only to STRENGTHEN our constitutionally enumerated protections, including 2A, from abridgment by state actors, not to weaken our protections like misguided Joe Biden is unthinkingly trying to do by promising more unconstitutional federal gun control laws to try to keep desperate Democrats in power.

“3. The right of suffrage was not necessarily one of the privileges or immunities of citizenship before the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment, and that amendment does not add to these privileges and immunities. It simply furnishes additional guaranty for the protection of such as the citizen already had [emphasis added].” —Minor v. Happersett, 1874.

The main reason that there are constitutionally indefensible peacetime federal gun control laws in the books imo is because lawless FDR, along with the lawless Congress at the time, probably thought they could stay in power longer by making such laws.

But the constitutional reality is that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress has been wrongly ignoring its 14A duty to put the elected government leaders of 2A-ignoring, activist gun control states in federal prison imo.

The remedy for constitutionally failed federal and state governments…

Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government desperate Democrats home in November!

Supporting pro-2A PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a "third term" in office imo.

I don’t see any problem with voting Republican ticket for 2020 elections.

Corrections, insights welcome.

They already have.

Straws are the device used to launch those stingy little pellets. And nonreusable straws, especially plastic ones, are the very personification of evil incarnate to the liberals. (At least for today. Tomorrow, it will be something else. For them, inchoate evil is very easily incarnated and reincarnated. It moves around a lot; primarily among things that ordinary Americans (especially conservatives) use/like. (Who would have thought that mowing your lawn was racist!))

Consequently, the use of straws has been/is being banned in many localities.

(Silicon and stainless steel multiuse straws are still okay with libs. Recommend avoiding the stainless steel ones as a mishap with them can literally - not kidding here - kill you. And, in all cases, make sure to buy a straw brush to keep your straw’s bore bright and clean. That’s just basic weapon care, you know.)

</ sarcasm>
