The common folk back then just thought it was students acting out; we OTOH know exactly what’s happening.

It is very similar in the metapolitical aspects. The Bolsheviks were a coup that used mobs of antisocial elements that had the backing of financial interests. Although they adopted a lot of Maoist tactical elements that came from the cultural revolution with public humiliation rituals.

The strategy of tension is also an apt comparison in regards to the terrorism you saw in Italy and Europe in general in the 1970s, as this is clearly done to influence electoral outcomes.

The Bolsheviks were at least serious. They lived in truly desperate conditions and were looking for ANYTHING to improve their lot.
Not that I think that was their best choice...

Today’s bunch are spoilt brats who what what they THINK they want - NOW. They have NO understanding of how life really works or how our system of government is supposed and CAN work for them if they would do their own homework and use it correctly.

Which ultimately led to more Conservative leaders in the 80s: Reagan, Thatcher, Kohl.

The leadership of the Bolsheviks were all pretty much at least middle class origins. They used the plight of the 'working class' and 'peasants' to manipulate and gain power, just as our modern-day Bolsheviks use the plight of black people.

Some people allege that was the intention, however I'm not willing to say the evidence support that.

It cannot be denied that these Antifa groups are receiving backing from intelligence agencies. These people went to Syria and fought with Kurdish militias. These people are defininetly proxy warriors for elemebts of the Deepstate.

WRONG! The Bolsheviks despised Russian Nationalism in all its' forms, especially the Jewish Bolsheviks, they intended to uproot people from their homelands and mix them in together to get rid of all forms of Nationalism and create "Homo Sovieticus" (Soviet Man)

Ironically, it was Stalin, who was, despite being Georgian himself, more of a Russian Nationalist, than Lenin and Trotsky. He made Russian the mandatory official language in all of the Soviet Republics, and ethnic Russians definitely were favored under his rule.

No they didn’t, the Soviets didn’t make a pivot to nationalism until the Wehrmacht was at the gates of Moscow.

Stalin’s hero was Ivan the Terrible.

He was a Bolshevik, more out of seeing them as a vehicle to power, rather than on ideological grounds.

People don’t realize that the organization of the NKVD, was really nothing more than an update from the Tsar’s Ohkrana, methods were more or less the same.

The Bolshevik’s also spent decades developing relationships with the “working class”. They worked on if not led in worker’s rights and unionization which of course the would betray later once in power. The current Antifa if they walked into a union hall they would be laughed at, scorned, their butts kicked if they got too annoying. Their only safe haven is a college campus. That’s why their ranks had to be stiffened with criminal jail releases (Due to COVID-19 !).

That’s not true.

The leaders of the Mensheviks and Bolshies were often intellectuals or from professional classes

Lenin

Trotsky....(Lev Davidovich Bronstein)
