An “autonomous zone” erected near George Floyd Square in south Minneapolis delayed an emergency response to a beating of a small business owner, according to a report. KSTP reports:

The barricaded zone is a one-block radius from the intersection of Chicago Avenue South and East 38th Street, flanked on the north and south by 37th and 39th streets and on the east and west by Elliot and Columbus avenues. The owner of Mill City Auto Body, who asked to only be identified by his first name, Dan, was knocked unconscious during an assault and robbery at his business on Aug. 5.

An internal Minneapolis Police Department report obtained by KSTP said, “The crowd from the George Floyd Memorial began moving toward us and people were hollering that they were going to kick our asses and that we would have to kill them.”

According to Minneapolis police, an EMS team spent 14 minutes trying to reach the victim.

As a citizen of the United States of George Floyd, I have to say that I sometime miss the rule of law and the presence of the police. And yet I am comforted by the benevolent dictatorship of the proletariat and I am grateful for the wise rule of President for Life Kamala Harris.

The rule should be that the bodies of anyone hindering an emergency response will stacked - or scattered - depending on the top speed of the vehicles.

I have a friend who lives within the square. A couple of black panther types guard the gate and openly carry weapons. They only let people in who live there or have business there. Of course you never hear about it on the news.

He was told long ago that there is no reason to call the police because they won’t show up.

Works for me.

They are asking for it.

“We know. We’re already there.”

Coming soon to any/all blue cities controlled by insane liberals, who hate cops, your new BLM/Sharia/Antifa non police force!

this is from the KSTP article about the “incident”:

A city spokesperson did issue a statement that said, in part, “There is no autonomous zone in the area of 38th and Chicago Avenue, or anywhere else in the City of Minneapolis. Laws and enforcement responsibilities have not changed for any part of the city.”

The statement also said the city is in negotiations with people occupying the zone and is working toward a phased reopening of the area sometime “before winter.”

My comments:

If there is no “autonomous zone” who are the people “occupying the zone” and why is the city negotiating with them?

“Autonomous” should mean just that. You are on your own, don’t ask for help because you are autonomous. You can’t have it both ways.

> and people were hollering that they were going to kick our asses and that we would have to kill them.”

That only works in Hennepin County, and maybe some parts of Ramsey and St. Louis counties. In the rest of the state that would get people channeling for Lt. Chard at Rorke’s Drift.

“before winter.”

Haha, City Hall will take credit for the abandonment of the zone on the second snow day in November, which btw, is still autumn:

30-year snowfall averages at Minneapolis, 1981 to 2010

Days Month Inches
8.2 January 12.1
6.8 February 7.8
5.4 March 10.2
2.0 April 2.5
0.6 October 0.6
5.2 November 9.3
9.0 December 11.5
