Just another reason, why I am extremely selective on the charities I donate to. Far too many tax dollars (mine and others) is spent unwisely and is essential a charity in and of itself. I’ll stick to veteran causes, and fellow employees that may need a hand when a bad situation arises.
According to the snap rules, you aren’t allowed to share the food benefits you receive with anybody else. If you live with others, you gave to have a separate storage area for food, and a fridge has to have a separate shelf for snap benefits cold food.
The federal government has been keeping many communities alive because of those benefits. Food, housing, agricultural help, hospitals, medical personnel, power companies...you name it. Think of all the industries necessary for the making of a pencil and you will have an idea of how much government (tax payers) benefit all communities. How many jobs would be lost without that assistance? Think about it.
Who came up with that ridiculous amount?
