Okay, Fox News is changing. I hear the complaints. But for me, I change with the times. When it comes to Fox News, I now apply a concept in medicine called debridement. Debridement is the selective removal of damaged tissue from a wound. Fox News is now wounded and infected by liberalism. Still, as a consumer of news, I have the freedom, and the duty, to remove programs infecting this news network from my viewing schedule. That's why God invented the DVR. There are still parts of the Fox News network worth saving, and I have that power in my personal viewing.
So here's my list of programs between Fox News and Fox Business I record and selectively view every day:
Varney & Company
Fox and Friends
Lou Dobbs Tonight
Evening Edit
Tucker Carlson Tonight
Hannity
The Ingraham Angle
I quit watching Fox News daytime programming after 9:00 A.M. E.T. and Fox Business after noontime quite some time ago. Frankly, I have a mix of news and opinions that I want and have the time to view. After all, time is a finite resource, and we all have the personal responsibility to manage it well.
Are there additional programs on both Fox networks that I wish I had the time for? Yeah, and I catch them when I can, but general daytime viewing is now gone, by and large.

Until their contracts expire.
Just hope to heck these folks were smart enough to refuse to agree to a non-compete clause.
Mr. Capron, just turn of the TV completely.

I only watch Tucker.
I have never seen Evening Edit.
Ixnay on Hannity and Fox & Friends. Sean just won’t shut up.
I DVR enough material ahead every day so I can fast forward past guests on my banned list:
Whorealdo, all the lib flacks, Napolitano, etc.
I do check in to see what Martha is wearing (yummy).
I also use it to FF through commercials. Nighttime shows just this week added 2 minutes of ads per hour. Not counting annoying promos leading into each break, commercials are approaching 40% of each hour.
Notice that the news division of Fox News is absent from his list, rightfully so. They are working to challenge CNN for the top of the heap for cable news, not for ratings, but for left wing messaging. Fox News is under new management and it shows.
The problem is the revenue from the conservative shows that get alot of views fuel the garbage shows that are going to become more and more frequent with the money earned..
but eventually those shows will be phased out too. If we have learned anything money is not the bottom line for media.
Destroying the right is
I forget the exact line from Citizen Kane but he is told his newspapers are losing money and he says at that rate I’ll be broke in 95 years. Something along those lines. It’s the message that counts

Me too! I also watch The Five.
I gave up on them 15 years ago. By then, conservatives seemed no more to them than a market to exploit.
Nowadays, conservatives seem to be no more to them than a constituency to manipulate. Their job is to manage the troglodytes that other Leftists find too distasteful to deal with.
I don’t need to watch pundits to validate what I already know.
Not worth watching. In fact most of what is on as news is not worth the effort to watch. You can use the internet and podcasts. You can be your own news director.
Fox is going the way of Drudge.
Hannity? Good grief I wish that guy would go away. So sick of his constant blather. He is a one-trick pony and an idiot.

This actually makes business sense, with the understanding that they are in business to make a profit and not push an ideology. Isn’t that what we want from media, to give us the news without an ideological slant?
Fox has the conservative audience locked, having had the capitalistic brainstorm that there was a huge under-served demographic. Having that lock, how to increase market share? Why, move to the center. At least that is my theory. But media being media, there is no definable center. Of course, the risk for them is instead of appealing to a broader audience, they manage to piss off both sides and lose share.
For the rest of them, well, they’re still in the tank for the left and are too busy fighting each other for their share of the hard-code left and otherwise mentally deranged audience. None of them have had the epiphany that there’s a whole bunch of other people to be captured.

Yes. Solid conservatives all.
Watching Fox News for the good shows is like picking up a turd from the clean end.
Dont forget Jessie Waters, Judge Janine, and Steve Hilton.
