Well there’s one thing Cleveland and Detroit have in common.
Neither has even been to a Super Bowl.

One of my favorite movies is Kill the Irishman. It's the true story of Danny Greene, an Irish mobster in Cleveland, and the car bomb wars of the 70's.
The entire story is set in Cleveland. At the end of the credits appears the line "Filmed entirely on location in Detroit, Michigan".
I swear it's impossible to tell the difference.

True enough. Both teams have won NFL championships, but those were in the “pre Super Bowl” era. The NFL and media make distinctions in NFL history, of times before the merger with the AFL and the start of the Super Bowl, and the history before there was a Super Bowl.

Cleveland has been to the Superbowl, it’s a long sad story and Bernie Kosar got his Superbowl ring winning a Superbowl for the Dallas cowboys after art modell stole the team to Baltimore in the middle of the night.

I’m in Pittsburgh where we certainly know what a Youngstown Tune-up is.
I highly recommend that film to anybody who hasn’t seen it.

Cleveland aptly earns its moniker “The Mistake by the Lake”.

Low budget film with great actors, and it tells the local story.
