Ex-Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele found himself trending on social media after bashing Trump supporters on MSNBC Wednesday night for continuing to stand by the president.
Ive talked to enough of them over the last few days. Im exhausted, Im exasperated. You know, at this point, its like, save who you can save. Because theres only so much you can do, theres only so much you can say. The fact that we have to literally beg people to wear a mask to save their own dumb a-- from getting sick, Im sorry. To me, it is beyond the imagination... I am just so exhausted with this president, Steele told MSNBCs Brian Williams.
Steele then brought up Trumps Wednesday press conference, when the president announced a vaccine distribution plan and predicted availability as early as October, directly contradicting a much longer timeline offered earlier in the day by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director, Dr. Robert Redfield.

It says so much about the GOPe that they put him in charge.
Steele is a stupid, traitorous RINO and he must ignored and shunned!
Because you did such a great job promoting GOP values - oh wait, you capitulated to Obama at every step
someone is cruising for more bruising
Becoming irrelevant sucks, doesn’t it, Michael?
Blood was thicker than water for that racist whos received everything hes gotten by virtue of his race
Remember back when the GOP was going to “own the libs” by having a black guy at the top of the party? Yeah, that didn’t work out too well.

The GOP will never change. It is what it is.
Time for a new party IMO.
Our own token traitor.
What does Colin Powell think?
What a doofus.
When was Steele in his GOP leadership position?
Wow, what a Rino
Remember back when the GOP was going to own the libs by having a black guy at the top of the party? Yeah, that didnt work out too well.

The GOP never fails to disappoint.
I'm done with wearing a mask. It's been over a half a YEAR and the government has NOT provided EVIDENCE that masks are effective. No science, no data, no charts, no graphs no compelling scientific testimony.
Losers gonna lose. That’s all I have to say about this moron.
The entire party is mostly RINO. What is really surprising is to see someone who is not one.
Always wondered why they put a Democrat in charge of the RNC
but I guess they were more interested in being multi-cultural.
His opinions are about as relevant as...other stuff that's flushed.

But conveniently, a group of former top government officials called the Transition Integrity Project actually gamed four possible scenarios, including one that doesnt look that different from 2016: a big popular win for Mr. Biden, and a narrow electoral defeat, presumably reached after weeks of counting the votes in Pennsylvania. For their war game, they cast John Podesta, who was Hillary Clintons campaign chairman, in the role of Mr. Biden. They expected him, when the votes came in, to concede, just as Mrs. Clinton had.
But Mr. Podesta, playing Mr. Biden, shocked the organizers by saying he felt his party wouldnt let him concede. Alleging voter suppression, he persuaded the governors of Wisconsin and Michigan to send pro-Biden electors to the Electoral College.
In that scenario, California, Oregon, and Washington then threatened to secede from the United States if Mr. Trump took office as planned. The House named Mr. Biden president; the Senate and White House stuck with Mr. Trump. At that point in the scenario, the nation stopped looking to the media for cues, and waited to see what the military would do.

Earlier this summer, 67 former government officials and academic students of government gathered over four sessions of the nonpartisan Transition Integrity Project to analyze those questions. They included Michael Steele, a former chair of the Republican National Committee; John Podesta, the former White House chief of staff who chaired Hillary Clintons 2016 campaign; former Republican members of Congress; and a host of former elected officials, government staffers, consultants, and even journalists.

On members of the Transition Integrity Project
Wiki:
Transition Integrity Project
The Transition Integrity Project (TIP) is a bipartisan group of political operatives, academics and former government officials formed in 2019 out of concerns around possible manipulation and disruption of the 2020 United States presidential election and transition.[1][2][3][4]
Members of the group include Rosa Brooks, a professor of constitutional and international law and national security at the Georgetown University Law Center; Michael Steele, a former chair of the Republican National Committee; John Podesta, former White House Chief of Staff to former President of the United States Bill Clinton; and journalist David Frum.[5]
In June, TIP organized a meeting of 100 former high-ranking government officials, senior political campaigners, nationally prominent journalists and communications professionals, social movement leaders, and experts on politics, national security, democratic reform, election law, and media. The project originally kept the names of the 100 secret, but about 40 have now agreed to be publicly identified. (The rest remain anonymous.) Among the publicly known names are some of the most ardently anti-Trump voices in media and politics. Norm Eisen, who served as outside counsel for the House Judiciary Committee during impeachment, is part of the group, as is John Podesta, the former Hillary Clinton campaign chair who played key roles in the Obama and Bill Clinton White Houses, and former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile. There is former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, now seen denouncing the president on cable TV, and another former governor whose name remains secret. To make the group bipartisan, there are several members from Never Trump Republican and former Republican ranks: Reed Galen, a key organizer of the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, Bill Kristol, Max Boot, David Frum, and others.
