Tucker Carlson criticizes Facebook for censoring interview with Chinese virologist

Facebook and other tech giants have engaged in a troubling pattern of censoring speech surrounding major issues in the coronavirus debate, Fox News host Tucker Carlson argued during his Wednesday night monologue.

Carlson's comments came after Facebook slapped a warning label on video of his Tuesday interview with Chinese virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan, who claimed to have evidence showing China "intentionally" released COVID-19 onto the general population.

"Within a few hours of her interview last night," Carlson said, "a video of the segment reached 1.3 million people on Facebook."

I think the virus is/was some kind of experiment, but I think the release was through either, incompetence or accident. I think that because possibly up to a million people died of this in the PRC before it mutated into a less deadly form. The Chinese government completely covered its spread inside China up.

What this shows is that Facebook is not on the up and up. Facebook is so one-sided, that’s obvious! They censor anything that they don’t agree with, instead of presenting both sides and letting people decide. That stinks!

I went to Tucker’s Facebook page last night.

The video of the interview with the Chinese scientist was there.

I have shared it multiple times.

So, I don’t know how FB is censoring it now?
They did place misinformation labels / fact checks on it the first time I shared but not after that.

The fact checks refer to info from early in the pandemic. Info and data that we now know to be false.

I think the leadership in the PRC is smart enough to have released the virus in the US not Wuhan, if it were deliberate.

proof of that idea can be seen I that the PRC tried to actually blame the out break on the US. They were doing a lot of cya type behaviors that would not have been needed if they’d meant to do this. Terrorist and thugs are proud of what they do. If it were deliberate, they’d have taken credit rather than avoiding blame.

All this is beside the point. The virologist is an accredited authority. FB so-called fact checkers are out of line in censoring her. Her opinion is an expert one that should be listened too. The “fact” that they disagree is meaningless
