That was during a world war I believe and Japan attacked America killing some 2500 citizens for starters.

Kids these days...

Just how many German-American internment camps were opened during WWII?

Put your money where your mouth is, Mr. Barr.

A Federal Judge ruled on Friday that Gov. Wolf’s coronavirus restrictions here in PA were unconstitutional.

Wolf is appealing to the Third Circuit.
An Amicus brief from the DOJ concurring with the ruling is in order.

You’ve been had by leftwad propaganda. Interning west-coast Japanese may have been the only thing FDR ever did right.

Well, Barr talks a good game but we still see that the score is 0-1 in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and nobody on.

I wonder sometimes if he is part of the ‘swamp’.

***Well, this is something Barr and I are in complete agreement on. I bristle when I see people in masks. It is deeply offensive to me that I live in such a culture of easily led sheep. This does not bode well for our future.***

THIS!!!! I feel the exact same way. And I really bristle when I see a lot of my conservative friends who have jumped on the mask bandwagon. It sends the message that every human being is merely a walking bag of germs.

You ARE “imprisoned” if you wear a mask. Take the damned thing off!

Regardless of the number spies among the Japanese-American population, the internment was a huge violation of civil rights. They were forced to sell their property and businesses at fire sale prices.

“Restricted to your home, with exceptions for work, doctor visits, food shopping, and other essential travel vs. behind barbed wire with armed guards.”

Fake news didn’t start with Trump, you know.

Keeping Magic classified for decades served to allow the left to purvey their BS without fear of contradiction. It’s declassified now, though.

The mask is nothing more than a different version of the yellow armband.

Take it off and leave it off!

What they forget is that that IS the truth and always has been. They just need to deal with it.

I have heard that if it were possible to remove every part of you that is “you” and leave everything that is “not you” (bacteria, etc.). You would still look like “you”.

And that touches on my problem with this. People say “well, we wear clothing to hide our naughty bits, so why not this.

The reason is simple. Clothing has to do with modesty and handling diverse climates and weather conditions. Animals have fur. We have brains. But the mask thing is a completely different dynamic. It quite literally inferferes with the minute by minute, second by second functioning of your body. You mess with that at your peril and only if the consequences of not doing it are worse than the consequences of doing it.

And not all consequences are direct health results. Some are long term. Some have to do with communication. And then we have the real problem of committing crimes with masks on, etc.

The real question that should be asked is this: To modify our culture, we need to define a risk threshold that necessitates it. For example, the flu or common cold does not cross that line. So, where is the line? It varies from individual to individual. A tiny minority were wearing masks before CV19 even became a thing and that was their right, though most would say that either they had no immune system or they were just hypochondriacs.

But the bar should be extremely high regarding direct risk before the government gets involved. This thing never got close to that bad. The curve was flattened and there is no longer any need for general social distancing or wearing masks. And many of us believe there never was any need. And now that we know so many “deaths from CV19” were really deaths “with” CV19. So they even had to pad the numbers to make it look bad enough to get involved.

And once the government is involved, we are no longer a free people.

What gets me about these stupid masks is that I touch my face a LOT trying to adjust the mask. WE ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO TOUCH OUR FACE.

And the other thing is that our EYES are exposed. Eyes are very susceptible to the virus, but the virus police don’t seem to care...they just talk mask mask mask.

And while I have the microphone here, I want to mention my governor of North Carolina. He has placed us on Phase 2.5, not Phase 3, but 2.5. What kind of game is he playing??? This could go on forever with next phase being 2.51, then 2.52, etc etc etc. He loves controlling people.

Yes. I have no problem with the internment. It was a serious war, and at the time there was no confidence we would win. The risk was real.

The part I have a problem with is what happened regarding their property and business. There is no excuse for that.

Of course, the lockdown is having the same effect on a LOT of Americans, it’s just an equal opportunity civil rights violation.

My building had an Amazing deli in the lobby. They had good food, good prices, and it was not unusual to see a line of twenty or more people waiting to place their order. They are permanently gone now. The families that business supported are crushed.

Prosecuting moral crimes (child abuse) instead of Constitutional issues (insurrection of DAs, for example) is all we’re seeing from the DOJ feeds. Sure, they look busy, but its resources taken from clearing the swamp.

Barr is a loser unless charges filed by next Tuesday.

Start with obstruction of justice for erasing the Mueller phones. Prosecute with longest sentences possible. Let them provide the missing phone data to prove their innocence.

We had Germans living across the street during WWII. Mom said __________ would ask her questions about their coming and going.

And there were plenty of Germans in that war.

Nevertheless...It was War and sometimes you don't know who the enemy is.

The Japanese internment...a right decision for the time.

Fauci said we should be wearing goggles.

But then I think....Here's a little pip squeak who stood shoulder to armpit with the President of the United States...for months...and Fauci and Scarf lady never wore a mask.

These Communist Democrats intruded on a lot of civil liberties with the fake Wuhanic Plague but the unconstitutional implementation of the income tax and the unconstitutional restriction on the Second Amendment via the National Firearms Acts are worse. The tyrants have no right to know what you earn and control it accordingly and have no right to restrict your inalienable right to protect yourself from the same tyrants.

“It was War and sometimes you don’t know who the enemy is.”

We had a much better idea than FDR would admit. For good reason, during the war. However, it should have been declassified right after the war. Instead, the left has been lying about it for decades.

I’ve been waiting all summer for Barr to do something. Why are Comey and Clapper and Brennan walking around free as birds? Why was Hillary Clinton never frog marched into court?

And long before this why hasn’t Lois Lerner ever been tried before a judge?
