When Columbus came to North America, people here didn’t even have the wheel.

Except an archeological dig in Mexico found a toy cart with wheels. Don’t understand why no ones light bulb went off.

I look at *modern* inventions, all of the time, and think....What took us so long????

The Aztecs had the square wheel which was a step up from the triangle wheel.

Very true. A history text I used teaching 8th graders years ago had a pic of the toy. However there is no real record of the Aztecs using the wheel to do work.
