Patagonia makes good products but it or Chouinard has always been politically active, especially on climate issues. Count me out - Columbia makes nice stuff too.

They’ve ALWAYS been leftist. Didn’t they support Obama back in the day?

I bout one of their Jackets once. I wasn’t impressed with the quality. It was a light jacket good for fall/spring and warmer winter days. By the end of winter it was already starting to have the threads come out.

"It refers to politicians from any party who deny or disregard the climate crisis and ignore science." Heck, the socialist liberals anarchists etc. have ignored science for decades. The crisis they create is based on fear-mongering and never about science. Climate happens; it gets hot, it gets cold, and cycles repeatedly. Humans focus on a couple decades and not millions of years of climate changes. And the scientists continually scratch their heads and guess.

Fortunately I bought all my climbing gear LONG before they even invented ‘Global Warming’.
Not that I climb or even camp anymore anyway.

Same here....I will gladly mail Yvon a pic of me burning my Patagonia jackets.
It’s a private company, so they have the right.
Good luck with that, tho!

Brooks Brothers went out of business, and Patagonia is still solvent? Heck, I guarantee that Patagonia's customers couldn't find the real Patagonia on a map.

Leftists think science means automatically believing anything no matter how absurd on its face that they tell you.
And they will destroy you if you dont.
