AUSTIN, Texas Chick-fil-A said Monday that it no longer plans to open a restaurant in the San Antonio airport, even though the Texas city relented after more than a year of legal wrangling that began when some city leaders opposed the fast-food chain getting a spot, citing donations made by company owners to anti-LGBTQ causes.
We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service. Chick-fil-A said in a statement. While we are not pursuing a location in the San Antonio airport at this time, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve San Antonians in our 32 existing restaurants.
Some San Antonio City Council members blocked the chain from opening a restaurant at the San Antonio International Airport, saying they objected because Chick-fil-A's owners have donated to anti-LGBTQ causes for years.

And Chick Fil A Kissed the BLM ass.
They are putting outlets where the money can best be made-smart business practice...
I stopped caring about Chick-Fil-A a while ago, when they sold their soul to the LGBTXYZ cause. BTW, they still hate your guts, Chick-Fil-A. Plus, you lost a lot of your original supporters. Hope it was worth it.
CFA no more.
That’s a bit too much hyperbole.
It wasn’t EVEN a decade ago CFA got in trouble for being “anti-homo”, and the great CFA Day support happened EN MASSE.
The “pro” homo only really surfaced a year ago.
they cut off the Salvation Army and started donating to SPLC.”
I didn’t know that went that far down the evil highway. I knew they got woke but that is too much for me, I’m done.
No, actually, at the time that CFA got in trouble, they had already shifted. They had already changed their charity so it was not against gay marriage before that. But for some people, that was just a detail.
Yes it is.
All the shakes are the best, as are the chicken. The secret is the peanut cooking.
I was a loyal customer for many years, I was an enthusiastic customer for eight years after the 2012 Homo demonstrations. Then Chick-fil-A gave me the finger. Not a good business practice. Maybe woke college kids will eat there now that they embraced BLM and homo covenant house and rejected FCA and Salvation Army. Want to place your bet?
I don’t think they “changed” a charity. Simply not having it is not the same as going counter-measure.
CFA, good thing you caved to the Bacon, Lettuce, & Tomato clowns.
Check on Salvation Army, too.
NONE of these institutions is pure.
Cynical, but proven again and again. SA keeps getting away with it but just look into it.
They pointedly redirected their charitable organizations. They stopped giving to groups that opposed gay marriage.
Bacon-Lettuce-Mayo.
They cut off Fellowship of Christian athletes, and Salvation Army. They added covenant house, a New York-based crash pad for runaway teenagers started by a Homo priest.
Good Christians, Salvation Army does not discriminate against anybody. Would you have Salvation Army turn away somebody who needs help? But what they do not do is advocate for it, they do not promote it. And most of all, they were not supported by a homosexual pedophile priest who made his lifes work enabling runaway teenagers. Teenagers dont need a shelter, they can go to the nearest police officer nationwide, and will be taken immediately to foster care. But they dont like foster care, because they dont get to make the rules, they dont get to use drugs, they dont run the place.
Look in to what?
Check out SA. You’ll find a bit disconcerting what they are condoning and promoting very openly on their website. It’s just like this argument about CFA.
I found out last year when I was looking for info on donating items. Posted about it.
Sorry, that argument didn’t cut it last year when I posted about SA and homos.
Deliberately posting about homos and how you’ll support them and even hire them proudly does not mean “toleration” - it means virtue-signalling to all that we condone homos as is.
They do NOT state that they want to help change them from their sin, etc. Just that they “accept” them.
I don’t discriminate either, if they need any given help or even just every-day interactions. That is not the same as hoisting “rainbow” flags and telling them they have no problems and that they’re so abused by others BLM-style.
Whatever. Support him if you feel like it. Do you have a problem with the fellowship of Christian athletes also? As for me and my house, we will worship the Lord, and not eat at Chick-fil-A.
