Actually, not Christian enough. The bible does not support denominationalism.
It’s way past time that all Baptist denominations drop their man made organizational style of religion and focus on how the Bible says churches ought to be run.

The official explanation said that they do a lot of work outside of college campuses nowadays. But how does that explain dropping Christ from their name?

In many cases “Southern Baptist” churches have cancelled Sunday evening services because of the lack of attendance, and they have largely dropped traditional hymns as well in favor of modern “choruses.” I left the Southern Baptists in 2016 and went with an Independent Baptist congregation, which has hymns and Sunday evening services. Most Southern Baptist churches are now called “Baptist” with no modifiers.
It will need to be voted on at an annual convention. I’m guessing it won’t pass.
