If you think liberals were upset when Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016, just wait until you see what happens if he also beats Joe Biden, according to The Atlantic.
The progressive publication warned readers on Sunday that Democrats might not be able to concede if President Trump wins reelection, especially if he loses the popular vote but gets to remain in the White House. Atlantic contributing writer Shadi Hamid wrote that he doesnt believe Trump is a fascist or a dictator in the making and doesnt consider America a failed state, but he does have one significant concern.
I find myself truly worried about only one scenario: that Trump will win reelection and Democrats and others on the left will be unwilling, even unable, to accept the result, Hamid wrote before warning that liberals could take to the streets if Trump wins.
A loss by Joe Biden under these circumstances is the worst case not because Trump will destroy America (he cant), but because it is the outcome most likely to undermine faith in democracy, resulting in more of the social unrest and street battles that cities including Portland, Oregon, and Seattle have seen in recent months, Hamid added.
Many American cities have been overwhelmed with sometimes violent demonstrations since the Memorial Day death of George Floyd in police custody. Now, The Atlantics contributing writer says Republicans should root for a Biden victory to avoid more chaos.
For this reason, strictly law-and-order Republicans who have responded in dismay to scenes of rioting and looting have an interest in Biden winningeven if they could never bring themselves to vote for him, Hamid wrote.
Trump 2020 deputy communications director Matt Wolking saw the column and wrote, Theyre not even hiding it anymore.

SCOTUS stopped the recount in Florida because they had reached the deadline for the “safe harbor” provision of the Electoral College. The state government wanted to certify the results, but the state supreme court kept interfering. SCOTUS basically said that if the Legislature had passed a law expressing a desire to take advantage of the “safe harbor” provisions (they had), the state courts had no standing to overturn that under the US Constitution. They also cited equal protection issues with the way the recounts were being done selectively.
Can we get friendly local sheriffs and police to deputize lots of law abiding citizens so when this crap goes down, our folks can rightly defend and respond without fear of legal reprisal?
I think You’re Wrong.
Worth asking Your
Local Sheriff as to
Self Protection/ Militia.
I Will,
Thanks.
If the enemy is declaring war on us, why won’t we believe them that they are serious?
I damn sure did.
I’m also very thankful that we had the foresight to move to a small town in Kentucky some years ago. Unless we have complete anarchy and civil war we are unlikely to suffer the same fate as the urban areas.
Of course we will take a hit from disrupted supply lines and shortages if things get that nasty. Which I’m thinking is a real possibility.
As long as they street fight among themselves, nothing has changed. It would be a shame if they brought their fights onto streets that arent theirs.
If you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of over a million bolts slamming home on loaded chambers.
I am more than willing to assist them along in the acceptance process.
If I remember right, they decided to be fair to the rest, they had to recount the WHOLE state. If they recounted the whole state, then the rest of the nation could recount-equal protection.
That started the whole thing off. The Bush team took it to the Atlanta court which said they wouldnt take it, then after the FL court ruled, they took it directly to the SCOTUS.
The SCOTUS basically said..”How in the hell did you come to that conclusion?”
The FL court withdrew the ruling. They couldnt explain it.
Theyre just not into Joe Biden, so its not about that.
The left wants Trump to win so that it can continue, and ramp up, the revolution.
It was a two-part ruling. The first SCOTUS ruling was 7-2 that equal protection within the state meant that all voters had the right to have their vote recounted - no cherry-picking Democrat-heavy counties only.
The second vote was 5-4 that the state had to have the recount done in time for certification. It was that vote caused Florida to stop the recount and certify, because the legislature was ready to act.
The MSM paid for an independent Florida recount after the election was over, and found that under any condition of hanging chads, etc., that Bush still won the state.
There was no ruling that other states had to recount if Florida recounted, because each state is a self-contained election, and only so because the legislatures of each state chose via Article II to use popular elections as the method for selecting Electors to the Electoral College. No state's choice should have binding actions on other states.

Just who do you think would get shot first?
My favorite Stonewall Jackson quote is when asked by one of his officers; “Sir what can we do about this kind of barbaric behavior?” General Jackson replied, his voice trembling with rage, “KILL’EM, KILL’EM ALL”.
Thats what it will take to put an end to this crap.
It’s on Twitter. Trump won’t leave when he loses.
Roberts is a traitor. It doesn’t matter who Trump has as a lawyer. Look at Flynn.
I hope he don’t because he is not going to lose honestly. The Democrats have made it plain that they plan to steal this Election.
Don’t forget the snipers in above ground places that know how to recognize the ones giving the orders.
Thats just about the way it will be, I am pretty sure targets have already been picked.
Most of those idiots live in NYC or the surrounding area.
