Hey there, Kathy.
The cotton is a long way from ready to harvest. A few plants are still producing a few flowers. *sigh*
Middle TN got a lot of rain today, with some nasty flooding in several areas, but we got nothing at all.
They say we could get some rain from Sally Thurs. and Fri. but with the way our luck goes ........
Right now, I’m saying prayers for my cousin and his wife who live in Bermuda. Paulette is closing in on them. That island is so tiny and the storm is so big. I’m just glad it isn’t as strong as Laura was.
LOL! The ducks know right where to go when pickin’s start to get slim.

Genealogy can really be addictive for sure. My folks were REALLY into it and enjoyed the time they spent researching.

Hope you had a nice Sunday. Ours was beautiful until the smoke from the fires in the west just about covered the sky and you could smell it this time.

WOW! I’m impressed with Mrs L and her mission of teaching the history of the National Anthem. I sure hope her successor does pick up that torch.
So little of anything taught about the history of these United States anymore. So sad.

Howdy, luvie.
It was a quiet day here. We thought we were going to get a decent rain this afternoon but it fizzled out just as it got close. Same as always.
Yikes! Don’t we normally get a nice mountain view from the bike trail? I think I can make them out underneath the sun. The smoke is thick!

Hai Kathy!! (((HUGS)))Well we were doing okay until the smoke from the fires cut the visibility at the airport to a half mile - when it clears in a couple of days we’ll be back in the air.
