Madison Cawthorn, the Republican candidate for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District, drew attention to members of the progressive left, including athletes, refusing to stand for the country and flag, rising from his wheelchair and promising to always stand for the United States of America in a recent ad.
Cawthorn, who was partially paralyzed after a tragic car accident in 2014, took aim at both politicians and athletes who refuse to stand for the country.
“Are you tired of politicians who stand for nothing? You vote for these people to stand up for you. But when was the last time you saw a politician take a stand for anything?” he asked as he made his way across a football field.

If we ever had a war with a foreign country on our soil, these knee benders would probably side with the enemy to avoid “standing” for our sovereignty.

During an occupation, they’d collaborate and extort money by threatening to inform on fellow Americans. Sort of like a young George Soros once did.
I’ve said it before here and say it again, “America could not hit the beaches at Normandy today.” We simply do not have the patriots and warriors capable of doing it. They are the few, the proud, Americans. There are not enough of us to go around now. My family served from the War of Northern Aggression until the end of the first Gulf War, when I retired from the Army. I do not know of any man or woman in my entire family line on either side of it who has served since. I was the end of that line. Those in my family today are too damned lazy to serve. They enjoy the good life that the few who do serve give them. I include my family line along with the rest of the bums who burn the Republic down and want it to be a Soviet style state. Well, sadly, one day when we are all gone and the idiots of this generation and the one to follow are in charge, they will get their soviet state and brother, they are not going to like it because it will not be the communist utopia they thought they were getting. It will be a soviet styled gulag just as Uncle Joe and Mao formed so long ago.
I trust he wins.

He spoke at the convention, and it was most inspiring. I wish him well and I hope he wins.

Ditto. And Cal Cunningham, too. His ads touting his Bronze Star show him in Camouflage, suggesting that he won it for combat. He was awarded the Bronze Star for ‘organizing the Courts in Iraq’. He even has another female member of the Military touting his Bronze Star, she is from a group called VoteVets.
Why can’t Dems be upfront and truthful? I suspect if they were completely honest, they would never win another election.
I asked my son (who lives in NC) if Tillis really did vote against a pay raise for Military members and he said ‘Tillis voted against a Pelosi Omnibus Bill that included a boatload of irrelevant, money spending Dem wishes. And yes, a pay raise was also included’. So, that is what Cunningham is talking about when he says Tillis voted against a pay raise for the Military. Pelosi has never offered a Clean Bill on anything and I think Tillis should rebut Cunningham’s assertion.

OK. He wasn’t from Brownsville, though. My friend must have heard it from him. Whatever. It’s true. Joe Biden’s greatest crime is that he’s a phony. He stands for nothing, but wants to be trusted with powers almost too awesome for anyone to wield. It won’t be a real contest. Hollow man vs. Orange Man, Orange Man must win.
I agree with you. Both my Mother and Father served in WWII (Army) as I have posted proudly many times. We were taught the love of God, Family and Country. We were blessed.
