America’s young people have veered to the left. Opinion pollsters tell us so. According to a November 2019 Gallup poll, “Since 2010, young adults’ positive ratings of socialism have hovered near 50 percent.” A March 2019 Axios poll concurs, saying that 49 percent of millennials would “Prefer living in a socialist country.” And The Hill puts it more strongly, citing an October 2019 YouGov Internet survey in a story headed, “7 in 10 Millennials Say They’d Vote for a Socialist.”

What’s the matter with kids today? Nothing new. A large portion of the brats, the squirts, the fuzz-faced, the moon calves, the sap-green, and the wet behind the ears have always been “Punks for Progressives.”
As soon as children discover that the world isn’t nice, they want to make it nicer. And wouldn’t a world where everybody shares everything be nice? Aw … kids are so tender-hearted.

Wife and I have been kinda “spying” on our own college kids social media (she’s bought into this leftist crap) and it’s pretty amazing how much they all blame everyone else for any little inconvenience in their lives while ducking responsibility for them. Almost genuine hatred for their own country, police, and anyone of white-European descent.
I know it’s not everybody but that’s a general mindset.
Four options:
Deeply deceived,
Knowingly complicit,
Habitual party line voter, or
Stupid as a bale of moss.

I had always been a huge O’Rourke fan, going back to National Lampoon Days. He wrote an absolutely hilarious article on pickups in the early 80’s for Car & Driver, I believe, worth looking up for constant LOL.
But the TDS surprises and depresses me, first read that a couple of years ago.
If O’Rourke voted for Hillary, the man’s a hypocrite and his fruit didn’t fall far from the tree.
Sorry, my opinion is that the youth has been in ‘useful idiot school’. Once the Commies take over, useful idiots are shipped off to re-education camps. Just read about The Soviets, the Cubans, etc...... the plan is clear.

In the Katyn Forest, where 30,000 educated, intellectual and leading Poles were killed, the Communists did the same thing: Bound their arms with wires behind the back, mouths stuffed with, then thrown into in small boxes and stuffed into buses.
