America’s young people have veered to the left. Opinion pollsters tell us so. According to a November 2019 Gallup poll, “Since 2010, young adults’ positive ratings of socialism have hovered near 50 percent.” A March 2019 Axios poll concurs, saying that 49 percent of millennials would “Prefer living in a socialist country.” And The Hill puts it more strongly, citing an October 2019 YouGov Internet survey in a story headed, “7 in 10 Millennials Say They’d Vote for a Socialist.”

What’s the matter with kids today? Nothing new. A large portion of the brats, the squirts, the fuzz-faced, the moon calves, the sap-green, and the wet behind the ears have always been “Punks for Progressives.”
As soon as children discover that the world isn’t nice, they want to make it nicer. And wouldn’t a world where everybody shares everything be nice? Aw … kids are so tender-hearted.

I am proud to say that my liberal phase ended at the age of 13, making me brainy and heartless at 20.
I use to get the Sunday Wash Post ( i.e. Pravda on the Potomac) to get coupons and their magazine that had a weekly O’Rourke article.
It’s hard for me to believe he’s left leaning and I missed it.
But 30 years later I view the world with different eyes.

Proudly I must announce two of my thirty-something kids have had their eyes opened recently, have registered, Are praying daily for, and can’t wait to vote for Trump!
My first vote I was 21, for Nixon. You had to be 21 back then.
And when you don't regret that vote at age 72, after Trump has proved himself so brilliantly.

Ignorance is a large part of it.
I graduated high school in ‘05, and I have to say that despite going to one of the “best” high schools in the Midwest, I didn’t learn a lot about history. For 3 of 4 years, my history teacher was a feminist Marxist. We were shown Michael Moore films like they were true documentaries, and she didn’t like when I brought up counter points to them.
I had to learn world history and American history on my own. It was probably a good thing that I was out sick for about half of high school.
The rest is due to the fact that these younger students are being taught blatant bullsh!t about our history in many cases, which fosters hate of our country and ideals. Biased teachers will encourage this. When they get out into the world with their viewpoints, and the need to rebel against anything they can at their age (I rebelled, but in a very different way), they find anyone who disagrees with them to be “evil”. It’s even better when you’re being told by authority figures to rebel against the authorities and the government; you’re being given permission by “the man” to go after “the man”. The ultimate authority is evil and must be destroyed.
It’s frightening. A lot of what he said can probably contribute to some of the reasoning behind Socialism’s popularity amongst the young, being idealistic and such, but I realized when I turned fifteen that Communism DOES NOT WORK. No incentive means no economy.
Why would I become a doctor to only be paid a small amount of income compared to the amount or work being done not only on a daily basis, but all of the work done to become a doctor? Even f I didn’t have to directly pay to go to school, my future taxes make up for that. It’s still a loss.

Our children have been specifically targeted by our pubic schools, news, media, churches and now social media.
We had John Dewey’s early 1900’s Progressive (Marxist) anti-home schooling influence, followed by The Frankfurt School’s mid-1900’s social Marxist plan for children, then Hollywood’s 1950’s communist influences, then NEA’s No God push in our schools.
Then, the 1960’s CPUSA push of college youts for war protests, drug use and wanton fornication, then the 1980’s sitcoms ridiculing parents, then the 1990’s queer push, then the 2000’s self-esteem facade.
Now, our MSM and social media are feeding their ignorance and arrogance, and SJW groups are getting them to riot.
P.J. is one of my favorite contemporary authors. I’ve read all his books.
But, he does NOT like Donald Trump, and he would love to see him out of office. I don’t think he’d vote for Biden, though. P.J. is a libertarian; so, if he votes at all this election, he’d likely vote for a write-in.

American children vote like their parents, except a little more to the Left, and a little more Third Party.
50% of new 18 year old voters are non-white.
Young non-white Americans vote 75%-80% Democrat in a two person contest.
Young white Americans vote 50%-55% Republican in a two person contest.
