Friday on MSNBCs The 11th Hour, Edward Snowden, the so-called NSA whistleblower, reacted to comments from President Donald Trump about a possible pardon for his alleged violations of the Espionage Act.
Snowden, who has been in Russia avoiding prosecution for the alleged violations of law, said although there was an effort to seek a pardon from former President Barack Obama, there had not been one with Trump.
I had not, and this is something people have actually forgotten, he said. There was a pardon campaign back during the Obama administration, but I at no point actually asked for pardon myself, while its tremendously gratifying to have this level of support. But as I said, my condition for return is simply a fair trial. Now, we didnt see the Obama administration talking about a pardon in this way, and I think Trump has commented again since then that he thought, you know, treatment was very unfair or could be. And theres been a lot of speculation thats come from this, but theres been no contact. I was as surprised as anybody else to see this. But its very interesting to see this president thinking about, you know, pardoning what a lot of people would consider one of the big names in this new war on whistleblowers, and thats something that I think we should all support seeing come to an end.
By hook or by crook, theres been nothing, Snowden added. No contact, anything like that. I think if that were happening, it would be certainly news that wed probably hear through one of the channels.
Snowden said he would not lavish Trump with praise for a pardon.

Before he could be pardoned, it needs to be proved he wasn’t a Russian asset.
Isn’t that the same thing Trump was accused of?
He doesn’t sound like the grateful type.
Trade Snowden for Soros. The Russkies would do it in a heartbeat.
Well, possibly by some people. But Trump didn’t end up as a prisoner in Russia, and give them a valuable asset. So there’s actually some evidence to suggest that Snowden might be a Russian asset. If he was n’t deliberately doing that then he’s very stupid. he should have made sure he didn’t get caught somewhere whereas only option was to go to Russia.
At any rate, Snowden is now the property of Russia. And that’s not a position I would like to be in. So he’s either stupid, or he somehow had a deal with the Russians all along. Which is stupid in its own right. Kim philby lived the rest of his life is a very unhappy man in Russia.
Even Gary Powers didn’t take the ‘pill’.
And he ended up there in a much different fashion.
BUT
He was allowed to come home and (maybe) there is such a thing called ‘Karma’..
Sort of like the guy making Audie Murphy look like an ‘REIMF’ coming home and getting killed by a runaway bus.
Even worse, Omar Little (The Wire) getting taken out by a kid that couldn’t reach the counter.
When your time is up, it is UP.
He was sent by Brennan's CIA to take down the NSA.
CIA vs. NSA.
Deep state vs. America.
So you’re saying they deliberately screwed him over?
Who they?
I'm saying the CIA assigned Snowden on loan to NSA with the intention of him nabbing their secrets and releasing them to destroy the NSA.
It was a consolidation of US intelligence move by derp state.
Snowden is no patriot. Quite the opposite.
Yes, but the part you’re leaving out is that they screwed him over. If Snowden was sent by the CIA to get information on the NSA to release the public. Then then they screwed Snowden over. They let him become a prisoner in Russia. Not only that but they deliberately committed treason. They let Snowden in his laptop fall into the hands of the Russians. If what you say is true I’m sure they didn’t tell Snowden that they were going let him spend the rest of his life as a prisoner.
By the way where is your proof for information that this was a CIA operation?
When exposing a crime is treated as committing a crime, you are being ruled by criminals. --Edward Snowden
I reread but I wrote and I didn’t say that anywhere. Where are you getting that?
l8r
[He doesnt sound like the grateful type.]
Yeah, seemed to come off that way.
I missed it too :-)
I thought maybe because I was still sick :-)
Actually, they let Snowden and his stolen intel fall into the hands of the Chinese. the true enemy. He stopped off there first.
I wouldn't call him a prisoner in Russia so much as a fugitive and guest. And yes, [they] deliberately committed treason. The entire Obama administration was based on treason. From the White House to the State House to the CIA to the FBI and more.
Military Intelligence was the one bastion of America left. And some say that those are the people that recruited Trump to run for President and set up The Plan to save the world (Q).
[They] had to take out the NSA to cripple the one department that could thwart plans with its data collection methods. And put ruin to their sixteen year plan to control America.
Snowden may or may not have known he'd be exiled from America when he was on mission, but no matter to the deep state. He was just a tool.
The silent war continues.
Its bigger than we can imagine.
Before he could be pardoned, it needs to be proved he wasnt a Russian asset.
In the end, whose asset was he?
This could be sorted with a sturdy wall or post and at least one tiny bit of lead. Barring that, and to avoid more deaths due to this vile traitor, an AGM-114R9X would not be out of the question; if its good enough for ISIS, its good enough for Eddy Snowjob.
