On Wednesday evening a Washington man named Jeffrey Acord called 911 to report a fire on the side of SR-167 near Pallyup, Washington.
After calling the police, Mr. Acord then set to live streaming himself to his Facebook Page. The video was later posted to YouTube. During the video you can see the police question Acord and after a period of time, the video ends as they arrest him for Reckless Burning 2nd Degree.
Jeff Acord was seen with a lighter in his hand walking on the highway earlier in the day in Sumner. According to Q13FOX The Sumner Grade Fire in Sumner and Bonney Lake has burned more than 800 acres and was 20 percent contained as of Thursday morning.

“Pallyup, Washington”
It’s right next door to “Tally Ho, Washington.” Which is a little sound of “Giddyup, Washington.”

Jeff Acord was released from jail. 2 hours later arrested for breaking and entering
This can’t be true. NPR has been saying that allegations that any of the fires were set by arsons is fake news.
And don't even get me started about Pysht!
The guy made bail and a few hours later he was arrested for robbing a convenience store (white reparations??)
Yep pronounced
Pew All Up
Next-door to the Aroma of Tacoma
LOL.
Puyallup isn’t as fun.
Pallyup needs to pony up!
Notice fires go all the way up the coast and stop at both borders?
sure just like peaceful protests
Also Arson is the #1 tool of terrorists.
“This cant be true. NPR has been saying that allegations that any of the fires were set by arsons is fake news.”
Michael Medved and NPR were saying the same thing. They’re in denial.
Well, there IS a George, Washington.
Seems like maybe there was a Martha, Washington tried to be established some years ago.
PS, that is Puyallup, Washington
pyoo-AL-up
I worked in Tacoma for a while back in the mid 70s. I remember Puyallup well. Not that there was much to remember back then.
Thank you..
Born there on the South hill 60 years ago !
They do. The Puyallup Rodeo at the fair is a big deal. Well, not this year.... :(
The town of George, Washington is near the outdoor concert arena The Gorge - on the gorge of the Columbia River. The first business when George was established was Martha’s Inn.
An aside: The state of Washington was originally going to be called “Columbia” after the river. However, that was deemed to be too confusing with the common name of the nation’s capitol at the time - the District of Columbia.
So - in order to avoid any confusion, the state was named “Washington”.
A further aside: King County (where Seattle is) was named after Rufus King, Vice President(?) when the county was established.
Ten years or so ago the county was renamed to King County, after civil rights leader Martin Luther King. The various county signs, logos, vehicles, stationary, parks, etc,. had the symbol of a crown replaced with MKL’s profile to fit the new name.
Don’t forget about Forks.
