The nineteenth named storm of the busy 2020 Atlantic Hurricane season developed off the southern Florida peninsula. The storm track forecast carries Sally across the southern FL peninsula into the Gulf of Mexico.

Sally has a tail that goes all the way to Eastern Cuba.I’m sick of dealing with this storm woke up to it again this morning. I’ll be glad when its gone.

Meant to tell you that during Laura the other day, a hurricane warning was issued for Lincoln Parish (county) for the first time ever in recorded weather history. The center of the storm crossed Interstate 20 about 15 miles west of my location at about Noon on Thursday, 8/27. We are about 195 statute miles (as the crow flies) from the landfall location of Cameron, LA.

I just watched three you- tube videos about it.
guess they’re used to hurricanes down there and know how to protect these wonderful gardens.
