If nearly all the refused voters are black then it will be an indirect poll tax. BLM supporter Obama judges don’t like that.

Mitigated a defeat somewhat, anyway.
I wonder if Soros will show up to pay the fines and restitution?

Two years suspended sentence and 300K fine. That should fix the problem.

no brainer decision - you have to pay off your debt to society to be considered to be rehabilitated. Debt means jail time AND fines. Derp.

In FL felons who served their sentences were always allowed to petition the courts to have their voting rights restored. And depending on the nature of the crimes and if they TRULY get their act together and turn their lives around they were convicted of, can even ask a court to allow them to possess firearms. It means jumping through a few hoops bit it can be done.

Having been a parole officer in AZ, I know that in our state ex-felons, even after paying their debt to society, had to petition to have their civil rights restored. That is exactly what it was called. And that included the right to vote. There was nothing automatic about it.

Roberts: Reversed. Sounds like a poll tax to me.

Nice! Dem registration advantage down to about 187,000 (calculating daily from 67 County websites) and dropping daily. Registration closes October 5th. Dem registration advantage was about 700,000 in 2008, about 550,000 in 2012 and about 330,000 in 2016. We will soon reach registration parity (simply incredible) - Lawton Chiles must be rolling over in his grave.
