Texas lawmaker has called for the Netflix film Cuties to be investigated for possible violations of child exploitation and child pornography following uproar over a poster that sexualizes the young actors—but the film's creator says the film itself has been misinterpreted.
Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, Matt Schaefer has asked the state's attorney general to conduct an investigation.
Schaefer announced his plans on twitter amid calls to "cancel Netflix" which began trending on the site.

For too long the LEFT and their cohorts have slowly dismantled established social norms against this behavior - they start with social justice programs, internal training of acceptance of boys being girls and vice versa, and slowly infiltrate the elementary schools all through college to brain wash and re-program everyone that these behaviors are normal.

They NEVER have been and should not be tolerated now. They only thing they understand is a direct hit in their financial pocket - defund these idiots - be PedoWood, NFL, NBA, and any number of these destructive morons -- time to take back what is RIGHT and JUST - time to reclaim the moral fabric that made this nation strong!
Child abuse is destructive -- no matter what age -- it's not normal for any child to be doing this - especially for a Netflix show that has an adult -rating. If it is so life changing for a child - then way is MATURE ONLY...?
Remember, the Obama's are part of this - as are the royals -- and which royal was running around with the Democrat king pf perversion for yrs on Lolita Express???

If people let this slide, the perversion and exploitation will only increase.
No boycotts - permanently cancel these kinds of services and take your money and your eyeballs elsewhere.
People have already let this sort of thing slide - Netflix has been producing and carrying filth for awhile now. this was just the next logical progression. You tolerate and patronize one kind of filth - it progresses into another kind. Those that participated and just tolerated it helped lead to this.

This film was not produced by Netflix.
Netflix bought the international distribution rights (outside France) after the film had been developed.
I beg to differ. I just watched the short version, in other words I fast forwarded through the movie. Stopping along the way to listen to the script. It is quite apparent what the movie was trying to depict. How our kids are caught up in the (hip) movement, how this child was berated and bullied, joined in to try and belong but in the end realized it was wrong and against her upbringing. And this was no where near child porn.

Me, too. Revolting. It made me want to puke. The Obamas, Susan Rice, et al., being involved in Netflix has made a difference, and not in a good way. Evil is on display.
But that’s what they do - they place an important social issue out front to make it appear legit ... when It’s not... it’s a cover... this is what pedo’s do — they ca;; children little angels - and refer to them as all these nice little things — it’s a known formula in the law enforcement field... Cuties is just that... taking something that should have been important to deal with - bullying - but mixing in all this other stuff - to make it acceptable.
where are these girls parents??? I believe they should be investigated.
where was Drew Barrymore’s parents? Where were Heather O’Rourke’s parents... those two are poster children for child abuse in PedoWood... One cannot take their children into these places -— look at what they did to other child actors...just not the girls...

That is what this movie is exposing. Have you seen it ? It reveals how children are exposed to pop culture, much like the half time show from the superbowl a while back, and they think it is ok to imitate that kind of actions. In the end, this young girl stops in the middle of their routine at a contest and realizes that it is all wrong. I do not agree with how this movie is being marketed, that in itself is wrong.
They are going to lower the consensual age to 14 and a 10 year spread between both parties.
We are literally headed into ‘Brave New World’ territory...............
There are a lot of quality shows on Netflix. Netflix didn’t even produce this one.
Just don’t watch the program. But I’m not canceling my Netflix.
Netflix does have FraudCo on the payroll.
