Love, Simon Canned From Disney Plus Due To Alcohol Use, Sexual Exploration

The gay-themed show Love, Simon is getting both a network and name change. Love, Simon was originally scheduled to air on Disney Plus but will now air on Hulu as a 10-episode run with the possibility of gaining a second season under the new moniker Love, Victor. Disney canned the airing of the show due to it not being “family friendly”.

It says a lot about this show (now named Love, Victor and airing on Hulu) if not even Disney was willing to touch it (and it's not exactly prudish regarding gay endeavors, since it basically started Gay Days back in 1990, to say little about the most recent attempts at promoting the lifestyle). And just as an FYI, Greg Berlanti is the guy who made the show, the same guy who ruined various DC Comics properties by trying to forcibly shoehorn in homosexuality to various characters, even if they're straight (heck, ruined Alex Danvers during Supergirl's move to the CW by forcibly changing her to be a lesbian, despite her being straight in the first season, and she was an original character, which is arguably even WORSE).

Of course, then again, I suspect they only didn't touch it out of pragmatism since they had TROS bombing as well as loss of stocks, and that's not getting into the beginnings of COVID-19's outbreak.

Yeah, no kidding, though at least Disney had the sense to realize it ultimately won’t work, and canned it, unlike places like the CW or even PBS where they go full steam ahead regardless of profits or reception.

The Disney production Moulin was produced in China where CCP Uiger slave concentration camps operate. Disney is being kicked out of China for causing the bad publicity that is seriously detrimental to a CCP already in turmoil.
