Well, the good news is the people of Oregon have answered a poll!!!

And, 66% disapprove of the riots....

Oregon voters disapprove of Portland protests, feel police aren’t using enough force, poll finds

Wow...at least they make themselves useful and answer POLLS, while Rome/Portland is burning.

Geez.

They actually are protecting their criminals against the populace. Can you spell I-N-S-A-N-E? This action makes Biden look like Einstein in comparison.

But how will they vote? That's the only poll that matters.

Their stupidity is so intense, I'm guessing the mayor ( or another democrat) is a shoo-in for re-election.

“Has no impact on County, State or Federal use.”

No impact on putting videos and images on the Interscope, either. My guess is that this law will result in more identifications for that reason. Dems are just stupid.

It’s been a pain getting into my iPhone with my mask on.

So was one of the unstated purposes of the face-diaper mandates to render face-recognition technology essentially useless, making it politically easier to ban it?

Or to fuel the growth of high-def/long distance iris scanning?

I do not see how a city ordinace which attempts to restrict how a business uses their 1st amendment right to record on and from their own private property, could stand up to legal scrutiny. Yes the city can ban the practice for their own property, I just dont see it being enforceable against a business.

““Technology exists to make our lives easier, not for public and private entities to use as a weapon against the very citizens they serve and accommodate,” the Democratic mayor reportedly said...............Is he referring to the criminal element being sufficiently able to resist identification? Seems that way to me.

What, exactly, is this dipstick mayor’s endgame plan?

Either he's a useful idiot and will be liquidated, or he'll be the commissar lording over the starving serfs in Portlandia.

Come the revolution he's dead set on being the latter, and dead certain to be the former.

I think you misconstrued my use of the word “broken”. I don’t actually need a source. I went to the store on Wednesday and I was not able to employ Apple pay until I dropped my mask so that the iPhone camera could see my face. :)

Eh, not really. Several of the guys I work with just added a "second" user to their security, that was themselves wearing as mask. Too easy.

Course, I don;t have that issue. My pattern stays the same no matter what, until my 2-3x per year pass-pattern changing.

It might be easy if you are always wearing the same mask. My daughter made me assorted colorful masks for every day of the week.
