Democrats will "confiscate your guns and appoint justices who will wipe away your Second Amendment," President Trump warned in his recent acceptance speech for the Republican presidential nomination.
He's right. Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris has promised to use executive orders to ban guns, and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has promised to make former Congressman Beto O'Rourke (D-TX) his gun czar.

What on earth is happening to Newsweek these days?
They are actually honest once a week or so. CNN/MSDNC etc lie 100% of the time.
....one of the most popular - if not THE most popular - platforms out there is the AR-15, with some untold millions having been sold and in the hands of American gun owners. If they are declared illegal by some future Democrat administrion, how are they going to be confiscated? The police going door-to-door and taking them by force? I don’t see that happening, but..... ya never know.....
I’m surprised Newsweak printed this opinion piece.
If the Democrats win, Antifa and BLM become part of Obama’s “civilian army.” They will likely being doing a lot of the enforcing.
And a lot of the dying.
Doesn’t matter. That’s probably a feature.
A bunch get killed, the rest learn fast.
And believe me, they’re learning fast.
Besides, they will have the power of the State behind them.
Click bait. There are more guns in this country than there are people. Tell me how an EO overcomes the CONSTITUTION!!
They can ban new ones from being sold. Confiscation is still a tall order, but they envision a generation of grumpy old people dying, still clutching their AR’s, and their terrified children calling the BATF to come take away the scary black guns before the children see them.

Americans right to bear arms is sitting in their gun cabinet. Its not on the ballot that would indicate it’s up for debate. Its not.
My outfit's going to be a real disappointment to anybody believes that.
Our 5yo twin great-grand daughters have been shooting for over a year now and their Mommy is the very best damn shot I have ever seen at ANY range. (Just wish I could get my brand new 6.5 back from her long enough to get some time on it.)
SHTF time comes and this grumpy old fart's liable to be "clutching" a spotting scope on the porch and marveling at our kids' scores.
