-Regarding Jacobson v. Massachusetts, I'm not an attorney nor do I play one on TV. But, I'd note that the Case Fatality Rate for smallpox ranges from 3%-30% vs the CDC estimate of 0.4% for COVID19. Thus, while this SCOTUS ruling provides for the Constitutionality of forced vaxxing in "the presence of a dangerous disease" like smallpox, it may be that COVID19 isn't "dangerous" enough to compel Constitutional forced-vaxxing.

Spot on and I’ll add all Educators and State employees to that mix.
What is the public health issue? A “pandemic“ that has killed around 10,000 people in a country of 330,000,000? If you are in a high risk group, this might be good. As for me, I’ve survived plenty of flus and colds, don’t really see any reason to give in to the uninformed panic.

People who believe the vaccine is needed to protect them can get a vaccine. Those who are not vaccinated are not a threat to those who are vaccinated.
I am disinclined until I know the safety and efficacy, of said vaccine.
I think the bigger question should be, “Do those that try forcing this upon us, and those actually doing the vaccinations become legitimate targets?”

I am not usually an end times person.. but this shit is scary.
Health care workers will be first, but optional, kids will be next, parental approval needed but “strongly” suggested. Then the rest of us.
I don’t get the flu vaccine unless I’m in the workforce handling cash, or traveling a lot for work. That hasn’t happened for me in several years.
I am not keen on vaccines unless I’m out and about in the world in an active way, meaning the above circumstances.
Since I am somewhat retired, I don’t feel that I’m terribly at risk for contracting most communicable diseases. I don’t think the benefits outweigh the risks for me personally. So I do not plan on getting the CoVid vaccine once it’s available. I might change my mind, but right now, that’s how I lean.
Want to see it fail? Make all the Federal Bureaucracy and their extended families publicly take the shots before any citizen with no medical, religious, position, etc. exemptions. Understand that the herd immunity that they get is by having you get the shots. They and their families never get the shots. Oh by the way, their seems to be a Polio epidemic in Africa compliments of Genocide Bill Gates and his Merry Band of Who.
