... Kamala Harris strongly rebuked President Donald Trump for politicizing the issue of wearing a pandemic mask during an interview Sunday with CNN's Dana Bash.
Harris, minutes earlier in the same interview, said she would be skeptical of a coronavirus vaccine distributed by the Trump administration but said a big part of the problem with pandemic response " is that we have a president of the United States who made this a partisan issue and made it a political issue."
BASH: Would a Biden/Harris administration support a federal mask mandate?HARRIS: So it's about a national standard. Everyone should wear a mask. And here's the thing about this, none of us likes wearing a mask. Nobody likes to wear a mask.
BASH: Right, but there's a difference between a standard --
HARRIS: But it's about sacrifice.
BASH: Right, there's a difference between a standard and a mandate. Would it be a federal mandate under the Biden/Harris administration?
HARRIS: It would be a standard. No -- listen, this is not about -- in terms of the priorities of Joe Biden and myself, this is not about punishment. It's not about big brother. It is simply about saying -- what a leader says in times of crisis... Where leaders said, "We each have to sacrifice for the sake of the nation and the collective."
BASH: But how do you enforce a standard, especially, when, as you know, there are governors who are in -- you know, who just don't agree with that and they're not mandating it on the more local level? How do you enforce that?
HARRIS: But I think that part of the issue here is that we have a president of the United States who made this a partisan issue and made it a political issue.

Stalinists lie. Always
the collective The greater good All communist buzzwords
The “collective” is obvious commie-speak. Even liberals should take heed in voting for this type of evil.
Perfect! That’s exactly what it is.
Speaking of which, why aren’t Auntie Fascists required by law to wear bodycams since they proclaim themselves to be the replacement enforcers after squashing the police...
Cool. Lets follow the lead of the Aztecs.
Chris Christie would be great debating this robot. She’s stuck in a Marco loop. Either its a mandate and you enforce it or you’ve got nothing. Afraid to say you’ll enforce the law is par for the course with this bunch.
They can’t hep themselves.
Spoken like a true commie...
It always about sacrifice for the collective when under tyranny.
And she’ll get support from some here.
She's been hangin' around Gropin' Joe a little too much.
Exactly right, anytime you hear a politician who has some power as US Senator with a chance to become POTUS, utter the phrase, “sacrifice for the collective” you should be very very afraid...
What is Chris Christie’s opinion on this? He’s sort of disappeared from view.
Tell her that since the general public is not at risk from this disease and overall society has been brought to a halt by overzealous power hungry som’b’tches that those at risk should take precautions as best they can and “sacrifice for the collective”.
They generally use the term “the greater good”
When the Leftist Supreme court at the time ruled that zoning was “legal” the majority opinion referenced the “greater good” clause in the Constitution, the only problem, their is no “greater good” clause anywhere in the Constitution because the constitution was about individual freedom and liberty not collectivism. Something the Supreme Court at the time did not realize it.
Some Freepers here will defend the “greater good” because they are afraid a strip club would open next door if they don’t have zoning.
People like their communism, only if they get to benefit from it.
What is the distinction between suffering COVID or having been exposed (asymptomatic positive test) to COVID?
No Sh*t. Boring. Next.
Thank God for The Trump. A real American.
“Collective” is a communist term. Shows you where the Dems’ heads are.
