Cook also encouraged other young girls who want to become officers to follow their dreams.
“I think you know what I’d like to say to the little girls out there is, you can grow up to be a police officer, it’s doable it’s definitely something that is an honorable profession and if you want to serve your community,” Cook said.

There was a primary for a new sheriff.....just before the election, Sheriff Daniels was hit with the dirty tactics....
Once she won the primary, the other candidate, a write in, withdrew from the race, so the goober-nor appointed her

Goober-nor is my generic term, like Goober-mint.....
Not a direct reference to DeSantis, since I voted for him and will do so again (and he'd be a better prez than Pence)
