According to the NCHS, in 92% of all deaths that mention COVID-19, COVID-19 is listed as the underlying cause of death. There were 161,392 such death certificates as of Aug. 22, the NCHS found. On 94% of death certificates that mention COVID-19, an additional condition is also listed, such as diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia or respiratory failure.

No matter who wins the died of COVID-19/didn’t die of COVID-19 debate, imagine how many more people would be alive right now if American ingenuity (in the form of drug companies) had set about developing some sort of tasty, no-sugar, nutrient, herb, vitamin, etc., infused, low cost waters that people would crave instead of soda and other things? —Especially if such waters also reduced cravings for donuts.

I know people could exercise willpower instead, but that seems to be in short supply these days.

But the fact is that 19 of 20 Covid-19 deaths listed one or more co-morbidities, suggesting that for most people Covid-19 is - in and of itself - not a huge threat.
