NEW YORK (AP) Ahead of Labor Day, unions representing millions across several working-class sectors are threatening to authorize work stoppages in support of the Black Lives Matter movement amid calls for concrete measures that address racial injustice.
In a statement first shared with The Associated Press, labor leaders who represent teachers, autoworkers, truck drivers and clerical staff, among others, signaled a willingness Friday to escalate protest tactics to force local and federal lawmakers to take action on policing reform and systemic racism. They said the walkouts, if they were to move forward with them, would last for as long as needed.

What, they not going to report to work Monday? Hey union (socialists) assclowns———phu cough!
What is racial justice ? I bet these people have NO IDEA either
Not postal workers though; illegal to strike (I am USPS emp. since 86)
Somebody needs to ask these pinkos what’s wrong with equal rights?
You can’t strike without a grievance against your employer. If they don’t show up, fire them. There are plenty of people looking for work.
The kids are better off for it.
They can all CHOKE ON IT. GO HUNGRY. Extortionist bastards.
Proof its fake:
2020 Their US Presidential ticket includes a candidate whose family owned over 200 slaves.
Union politicking has been considered essential services since March of this year. Not so much going to church though.
AOC has been floating the idea of a General Strike for a while now.
I think what they’re going for is a European-style ‘General Strike’, the kind that attempts to bring down governments.
Most union guys I know would not be for Burn Loot Murder (BLM).
Good - then hire more white guys for NFL/NBA teams.
Doubt they’ll do it.
I suspect organized job actions would void contracts.
“...amid calls for concrete measures that address racial injustice.
What concrete measures about what racial injustice?
...labor leaders who represent teachers, autoworkers, truck drivers and clerical staff, among others, signaled a willingness
Laughable. Labor leaders are paid shills and hardly represent the beliefs of their workers. And from the list above the only group necessary are the truck drivers. (Wife is a conservative teacher)
All of the truck drivers I know support Trump.
Maybe this is why Boeing has been rumored to be considering a 1 October plant halt across Boeing for at least 3 months?
