Thanks for the correction. I would have to honestly admit that I've seen Hutterites in person before, but have not heard them speak German.

Growing up in Fargo, we saw the tri-state weather map of SD, ND, and MN. In February it would be -10 in Fargo and 35 or 40 above in Rapid City.

Got a friend who is Walloon-Belgin. They speak the old dialect of Walloon. Its so that now days, the new generation from the old country cant understand the old dialect they speak in Wisconsin.
The Hutterites originated from the Tyrol area in Europe.
Good folks. Kinda strange but get to know them and they are good folks. They got a problem with inter breeding now. So they are being encouraged to marry outside of the community to save the community. Something the colonies are having a hard time accepting. Its either that or it ends.
My Brother and his family have a lot of contact with then up in Montana. Thats how I know. They really enjoy them since it reminds them of back home in WI. GREAT farmers..absolutely GREAT.
