A Portland man is accused of chasing two federal officers on an Oregon roadway and trying multiple times to hit them with his car – successfully crashing into their vehicle twice, the U.S. Justice Department announced Wednesday.
Albert, 55, faces up to eight years if convicted.
The pair of officers, who were in uniform and wearing “visible police patches and a badge,” had just left the Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building in Portland in a rental car, officials said. They were heading back to their hotel when one of the officers spotted a gray SUV – allegedly being driven by Albert – passing them on the left.
Authorities said Albert looked toward the officers before he “turned sharply” and nearly crashed into their vehicle.
“The driving officer made several attempts to change lanes and pass Albert, but Albert swerved in either direction to block their vehicle,” police said. “After positioning his vehicle to the officers’ left, Albert turned sharply to the right, striking the officers’ vehicle and causing his own vehicle to spin before coming to a stop.”

I live in a Republican County about 30+ miles south of Portland, OR. We haven’t voted for a Democrat in a Presidential Election since 1964. Before 1964 it was 1940.
All Federal, State and City governments have been shutdown since “virus hysteria” hit our nation.
The Public sector in Oregon are a bunch of pussies, who are afraid to show up for work. They would prefer to work from home, while still getting paid. Also most State and local government agencies are closed to the public.
“Only government lives matter” in the State of Oregon.
Including the schools in a lot of other states. Many voters are realizing for the first time that the teachers unions really don't care about their kids. Unlike nurses, or hospital cleaning crews who did their jobs in the middle of real health risks, many teachers would rather sit home and look at a zoom screen than get back to work.
This is a great opportunity for parents to try out alternatives to public school education.
I have a four year old son who will be getting an education, regardless of what public schools do.
I’ll pay a good educator a decent sum for tutoring services.
Talented teachers that enjoy their profession, will advertise and survive. Mediocre educators will find a new line of work.

The Democrats maxed out their voting ceiling in 2008, when Obama got almost 70 million votes. They then “shot their wad” in 2018, with the Mueller farce investigation at its apex.
With urban areas in chaos and colleges shutdown in 2020, as well as Biden/ Harris being a weaker ticket than Clinton in 2016.
Trump can only lose by a fluke of nature. The Democrats have zero solutions for our nation, only destructive policies. A Biden win would stagnate us for a minimum of 5 years and a max of 10.

There is one more consideration, though. Four more years’ worth of young folks have reached voting age since 2016, and we know about the brainwashing they’ve been receiving from public schools, colleges and universities. They tend to vote more often in general elections. Maybe we should get more active in our communities, just in case. Besides, a greater conservative popular vote might be a good idea.
