Across Pennsylvania — especially in rural communities — tens of thousands of yard signs supporting Joe Biden have popped up as his fans try to replicate how President Trump showed his growing support in the state when he was campaigning in 2016. And, just as quickly, some of those signs have been vanishing.
It usually happens in the dark of night, local Democrats say, but sometimes in daylight. Sometimes entire streets or neighborhoods are cleared. Pro-Biden Facebook groups have devoted long threads to strategies for deterring sign snatchers — one suggestion involves clear hair gel and pesky glitter, another electrifying the metal frame with a car battery.
While sign thefts are a problem every election year for candidates of both parties — and are an ongoing source of headaches for campaign staffers and party officials — some Democrats in Pennsylvania and several other states insist it’s worse for them this year and illustrates the emotional intensity of the coming election. While there are examples of Trump signs also disappearing, there hasn’t been the same level of public outcry.
Campaign staffers frequently roll their eyes at the utility of campaign signs, preferring to spend their time and money on higher-tech sales pitches. But as the Trump campaign proved in 2016, signs can create a momentum for a candidate all on their own, persuading people that siding with a candidate, even a controversial one, is safe.

My take was the rats were putting these up at night and the property owners were taking them down the next day.
Democrats in western Pennsylvania can’t read or think so this has got to be “FAKE NEWS”.

I’m in the Philly burbs too. I’ve had my R signs taken by township employees. I saw the truck with township seal driving away before I could stop them. I complained to the township public works department and they claimed my signs were too close to the road. I couldn’t get them back because they’d already been thrown out. I’ve never seen a Dem sign removed, and many are still around months after the election. Local D’s aren’t too conscientious about cleaning up after elections. I never put anything on my car. I learned the folly of that after a couple rounds of keying and bashing of our vehicles. I see more American flags these days, which I take as a proxy for R support in a D-dominated area.
My daughter gave us one of the first Trump 2016 bumper stickers before he even announced that he was running. It’s still on the car despite some evil-eye looks by our local psychoward Democrats.
Perhaps they are dissuaded from doing “something rash” by our three other stickers: “We fight for freedom”. “Vietnam”. and “Operation Iraqi Freedom”.
My son-in-law’s truck has “God Bless our troops, esp. our Snipes” (He, like my son, were snipers or counter-snipers in Kosovo, Desert Storm and Iraq.
I guess the NRA stickers helped a little. In our family, the saying “We have good arms” doesn’t just apply to our bodies.

Tens of thousands of Biden signs??? I live in rural northern Bucks County, where we are saturated by political ads on TV, as we are a battleground county in a battleground state. I have seen exactly two (2) Biden signs, one of which was in libtard Doylestown and the only other one was on Slifer Valley Road, near my house. I’ve seen hundreds of Trump signs up here. WaPo is delusional.

A couple hand painted ones. A few “ any functioning adult “ 2020. Etc
They put them out - take pictures- take them back then claim they were stolen. Hoax!

Down the street from me in my neighborhood is a corner house and on the corner of their lawn are 3 signs. The first is “Vote Biden”. The second is “Trump is such a turd”. The third is just a picture of a pile of poop.
I disagree completely with these signs, but freedom of speech gives the home owner the right to display them.
I thought to myself, “is that really all you’ve got?” Does he believe that display is going to convince independent voters to vote for Biden? (In the last few days, he has taken down the picture of poop and replaced it with Trump with a Bozo nose. Neighbors may have told him his sign was in poor taste, and yet it’s not furthering his cause.)
I think Biden voters can really be challenged on “what is he going to do to make our lives better?” There is no answer and they know it.
BS. I drive around York County all the time, and I count 15-20 to 1 Trump over Biden signs. Sounds like Fake News to me.
This story is just to help support the numbers on election day, when they add in all the fake Biden ballots or toss the real Trump ballots.
Another possibility: Democratic campaign workers put Biden signs on people’s property and when people discovered them, they threw them out. WALA! Horrid Trump supporters “stealing” Biden signs.

There was a Biden sign 3 houses down from mine, but it has been removed, probably by order from HOA.
God I hope Trump wins re-election. I can’t imagine living under Bye-Done.
