Tom Terrific was just that. In my almost 60 years of following baseball, Tom Seaver is my choice as the best RH pitcher.

Jim Palmer’s up there too.
(And is Nolan Ryan a righty or a southpaw, I keep forgetting.)

The 1969 Mets are one of the greatest stories in baseball history. And Tom was the keystone of that team. Such a great figure, fine and decent man.

In my almost 60 years of following baseball, Tom Seaver is my choice as the best RH pitcher. Seaver or Gibson for me. Seaver was better at an earlier age. Gibson had control issues early on, but his World Series numbers are stellar. Give me both! :)

He is in the discussion. Great pitcher on less then stellar teams. Class act all the way around.
