Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris asked supporters in June to donate to Minnesota rioters who were arrested, in a tweet now earning her criticism after condemning rioters’ violence this weekend.
“If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota,” Harris tweeted on June 1, just days after the Memorial Day death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Over the weekend, Harris and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden condemned the violence seen in recent days, specifically in Portland, Oregon, where one person was shot dead Saturday night.
“I join @JoeBiden in condemning this violence. This can not — and must not — be who we are. Americans deserve a president who will heal our country and bring people together — not fan the flames of hate and division,” she tweeted Sunday.
Republican Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton resurrected Harris’s June tweet Sunday, slamming it as a flip-flop on her support of rioters who have caused destruction in multiple major cities across the country.
“Kamala Harris helped violent rioters in Minnesota get out of jail to do more damage,” Cotton tweeted. “Don't believe her when she says she ‘condemns the violence’ — look at her record, not her words.”
Donald Trump Jr. also took issue with her June tweet.
“Remember: Joe Biden called them ‘peaceful protesters.’ Kamala Harris raised money to bail violent rioters out of jail. And they both continue to oppose @realDonaldTrump's plan to send in the National Guard to finally end these violent riots once and for all,” Trump Jr. tweeted Monday morning.

Saw on facebook someone’s tweet from last year saying the only candidates they could never ever vote for were Biden and Harris-—her throwing blacks in jail etc.
Then the same guy later expressing excitement over the Biden-Harris ticket.

You just know what Biden’s “speech” is going to be: “We must condemn violence on both side” (finally) and, of course: “Trump’s divisive hateful rhetoric”

As for us, those who have not armed themselves, better.
Almost every public corporation in the USA made the same error as Kamala giving the “all clear” to the rioters to destroy at will. What a collective lesson for us all. How many corporations will condemn the violence now? Not one will dare to. Not the NFL, not the NBA, nor even NASCAR will either. That would be deemed “hate speech” at this point. It has all gone so far over the edge that the only effective message left is to re-elect DJT.

Last Tuesday was the first sub 100 gun day we have had since June 1.
Waiting for her to say their are good people on both sides of the issue.
They best be careful. These "protests" have been about Blue on Black law enforcement. To interject a new "reason", i.e. Trump and politics, will be to completely rip the heart out of the protests and will backfire big time. The black community already senses they have been played by the mostly white Marxists and Anarchists. Now the Dems will try to put their own spin on things to gain a political advantage. This is not smart.
Trump for his part will just continue to support Law and Order and the failure of the Democrat "system" perpetuated in these protest torn cities. The Republicans are truly the "outsiders" in all aspects of this EXCEPT for supporting the Police and the "rule of law". Even the weary left is now realizing that "defunding the police" is a bad idea.
