Tamarris L. Bohannon, the police officer in St. Louis who was shot in the head Saturday responding to a barricade situation, died from his injuries Sunday, investigators said.
The 29-year-old officer was survived by his wife and three children. His family penned a letter posted on Twitter by the police department that called him a "hero to many but most importantly to his loving wife and three incredible children."
The loss of this great man is felt deeply within the St. Louis community and we ask for your prayers and support in the days ahead, the letter read.
Bohannon and another officer were shot when they responded to a shooting call in the Tower Grove South neighborhood around 6 p.m. on Saturday. A man had barricaded himself inside a home and fired at police.

I guess Im getting older but this officer looks so young. A great life was stolen from him, his wife, children, other family members and friends. RIP, brother.
Why was the shooter taken alive?
It’s us. They all look like they’re 12 or 13. :-)
If it keeps up, I predict that fewer and fewer of these lowlives will be surviving the trip to the police station
Rest in peace, Officer Bohannon.
So sorry for his family, especially for his wife and children.
He was Democrated. RIP.
RIP. Prayers and condolences to his family.
Hopefully, so he could be tortured while no one sees *anything*.
The people of St. Louis will publicly stand up and support his family, not only in the next few days as he is laid to rest, but for the throughout the lives of his wife and children from the support of Backstoppers, an organization that is privately funded to assist the families of police officers killed in the line of duty.
Sadly, the Bohannon family will be without their husband and father, but they will not be without a community. They will be forever held in esteem and will be comforted and supported as needed.
This is really one of the big differences between Black Lives Matter, and Blue Lives Matter. We take care of our own, not when it's politically advantageous, but always.
This black life was too blue to matter.
Lebron isn’t upset or boycotting due to the murder of this black life. Not surprising.
No, sorry, he's not a loser drug head rapist who was shot by a white cop.
This whole BLM thing has nothing to do with black lives. They give a s*** about whether a black man lives or dies.
This is all about crime and punishment.
They want to commit their crimes without the punishment.

I've been saying that ever since self-defense stopped Trayvon Martin from committing murder.
The goons weren't protesting the kid's death -- they were protesting an interruption in their march toward "the right to murder whitey at will".
(Remember "The Knockout Game" on White seniors?)
And -- as is now blatantly obvious -- that murderous march has resumed, and is claiming victims with appalling frequency.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Martin example clearly shows what will stop that march -- again.
It IS an attitude problem -- shared by savage thugs of all races.
True. The evidence is the rioters are about a 4:1 mix of white/black, antifa/BLM maggots.
