I saw the video, there really was a good amount of smoke.

I think it was probably mace or bear spray, which he sprayed when he saw the guy coming for him. Somebody yelled out, “there’s one, there’s a Trumper,“ and he turned around and saw them coming for him.

The Trump group was leaving and had to fight their way out of town while the Antifa orcs were throwing newspaper boxes, signs and everything else they could tear up in front of the Trump vehicles. The Trump folks seem to have had only paintball guns and spray (mace? Bear spray?) to keep the Antifa orcs back.

The one who shot this man, btw, was a 48 yr old Portland resident....not an excitable kid. He had been arrested before for violence at a demonstration.
