I'm guessing the Democrats internal polling on the current rioting and protesting is looking really bad, because the New York Times this morning declares a five-alarm fire with this new story (Ive bolded some revealing bits of the reportage):
How Chaos in Kenosha Is Already Swaying Some Voters in Wisconsin
Don Biehn, 62, owner of a flooring company, was standing in line at a gun store on Tuesday afternoon. He said that he had never bought a pistol before, but that he had a business to protect. A former county board supervisor, Mr. Biehn said he had been calling county and state officials for days, trying to explain how grave the situation was. . .
He added: Its chaos everybody is afraid. Mr. Trump, he said, was not my man, but now he is grateful he is president. He said he seemed to understand in a way that other politicians did not. Theres nobody fighting back, he said. Nobody is paying attention to whats going on. . . .
Priscella Gazda, a waitress at a pizza restaurant in Kenosha, . . . said she had voted only once in her life for Mr. Obama in 2008.
Im not the one who would ever vote, she said. But after the chaos in her town, this year is different. I am going to vote for Trump, she said. He seems to be more about the American people and what we need.
Im guessing this story has ruined a lot of breakfasts today for Times readers, and will cause a lot of canceled subscriptions. The Times isnt supposed to bring its readers unpleasant news like this.
Well, maybe they should cancel the NBA...that should convince people to vote Biden. < /sarc >
Panic.
The Death2America party doesn’t seem to have another apocalyptic rabbit they can pull from their hat in October to sway the election.
And worse, if the riots subside, its going to become clear that they were controlled, orchestrated.
They are trying to characterize them now as ‘organic’ - something fomented by Orange Man Bad being so ________ (insert vapid, general adjective/adverb here).
If the riots stop all of a sudden, it may be worse for them.
The Kenosha Invasion
***************
The invasion that seems to have awakened the sleeping giant.
I just cracked a celebratory guinness stout
Now theres a helluva idea.
They are anxious to do it. Salivating for it.
Voting for a Republican makes a bigger difference than you think. Most states have “straight ticket” voting and the Dems use it to gets their dummies to vote for all the down-ballot Democrats because it’s easier than to actually vote line by line for each race.
If someone votes for Trump instead of Biden, they can’t use the “straight ticket” vote so they either have to vote for down-ballot Democrats manually or a few (possibly) will vote “straight ticket” Republican.
Anything that breaks the reflexive impulse to vote “straight ticket” Democrat is a win.
An older gentleman I worked with told me he had an uncle who was a policeman in Brooklyn. In the old days, if you ran from the police, the scenario went:
Bang! “Stop or I will shoot!”
Well, they could ramp up the riots to attempt to frighten the American people into doing their will....and there are certainly some out there who will succumb.
More likely, it’ll piss them off to the nth degree.
What I actually fear is that they’ll do something so evil and desperate as to take the President (and Vice president) out of the picture completely, taking into account who is in the Line of Succession.
G-d forbid!
I have no doubt they'll try. I don't think we've seen the worst by a long shot.

1. If you are 62 and this is your first pistol, you are far, far, far, far behind the curve and where you should have been. This guy, being a former county board member, is likely part of the cause of the problems we face now. Anyone want to bet he was in favor of restrictions on those ‘icky’ pistols and modern rifles?
2. A pistol isn’t going to be enough against the mobs. Decent starting point, but needs a longarm to go with it that’s not a Fudd gun. Something semiauto with decent magazine capacity is your minimum.
3. Mr. Biehn, welcome to reality. The police aren’t coming, your friends in government are useless, you are on your own.
My guess a noble immigrant. This why I keep saying stop all immigration for 40 years.
Twitter has been instrumental as a platform for the countless videos of rioters looting and destroying, and the tears of business owners who are seeing their livelihoods wiped out (and in some cases attacked while trying to put out the flames).
This is where the word is getting spread and, I believe, public opinion is being swayed. The other news story today is the cratering of white support for BLM.
Kenosha *is* a Democrat crap-hole.

It was just a decent looking one, that’s all.
If Trump is elected the needs Feds to take over intercity schools...and bring back the FDR ...conservation core...you are a teen and get in trouble...your sent there and learn to work and go to school.
When I was a kid and you got in trouble..first time the cops talked to the parents...second time they smacked you with there night stick...third time the judge gave you a choice jail or go into the ARMY and the drill Sargents took over
I just hope President Trump continues being the "adult in the room" until then.
As long as he remains lucid and tempered, he can retain the lukewarm support he has from that sizable demographic of people who don't really like him, don't like the tweets, but will vote for him anyways because they believe the Democrats are full-blown crazy.
Well considering who Obama was running against in 2008, can't say that I blame her all that much.
The fact that its Kenosha is resonating.
Though a city of almost 100,000, the name implies a certain small hometown quality. Most voters long ago wrote-off inner city Baltimore, Detroit and Chicago. But if this kind of violence is percolating down to places Americans view as more idyllic the political repercussions will be dramatic.
Great point. I expect Dems will reign in antifa/BLM after the RNC since it is polling bad now.
Who “demonstrates” at 3:00 AM?
