Ex-Trump spy chief Richard Grenell says Biden helped target Michael Flynn
NYPOST.COM ^ | 8/26/20 | Steven Nelson

Trump's ex-acting intelligence director Richard Grenell accused Democrat Biden of scheming to take down Trump’s first national security adviser. “Former VP Biden asked intelligence officials to uncover the hidden information on Trump’s incoming NSA [Gen Michael Flynn] three weeks before the inauguration,” Grenell said.....referencing revelations by Flynn’s legal team of disgraced ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok's note.

The 1/4/17 note implicates Biden in selecting the Logan Act as a rationale for keeping active an investigation the FBI was prepared to close. “VP: ‘Logan Act’,” the note written by Strzok says.

Grenell condemned Obama’s inquiry. “I saw Democrats’ entire case for Russian collusion. And what I saw made me sick to my stomach. The Obama-Biden admin secretly launched a surveillance operation on the Trump campaign and silenced those who spoke up against it. They presented bogus information as facts. They lied to judges. Then classified anything that undermined their case,” Grennell said.

“And after Donald Trump won, when they should have continued the American tradition of helping the president-elect transition into the White House, they tried instead to undercut him even more.”

The Logan Act was invoked to continue the investigation of Flynn because the Trump adviser had multiple calls with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in late 2016, made with the knowledge of other incoming Trump officials.

Days into Trump’s presidency, Strzok and Obama FBI Director James Comey skirted protocol and interviewed Flynn without permission from Justice Department leaders or give notice to WH counsel.

Flynn says he did not intentionally lie and the Trump Justice Department is seeking to drop the case, arguing the FBI had no basis to question him.

DOJ's IG last year found “significant inaccuracies and omissions” in court requests to monitor former Trump adviser Carter Page......an ex-FBI lawyer this month pleaded guilty to falsifying records.

NOTE WELL: Prior to Obama’s formal signing of Section 2.3, greater latitude ALREADY existed within the White House in regards to collection of information – especially in relation to the Trump Campaign. However, once signed, Section 2.3 granted broad latitude to inter-agency sharing of information.

But by the time Obama’s new executive order was signed on January 3, 2017, all that information was already in the possession of Obama White House.
Thus, Susan Rice’s January 20, 2017 email to herself takes on an even greater significance b/c no one was ever supposed to know about the REAL meaning of Obama’s retroactive actions.....until Rice stupidly laid it all out in an email
]On

January 13th, 2017, a few days before Trump took office, Obama issued an executive order saying ALL 17 US security agencies could have total access to each other. In other words, they were free to engage in collusion...and that’s exactly what they did.

Pres Obama’s maneuver of January 3, 2017-——his signing of NSA Data-Sharing Order Section 2.3 out of AG Lynch’s office ——is the coupe d’etat to blow out The Deep State.

Obama’s original ex/order contains some unusual language particularly the convoluted language WRT “The Strategic Delay of an official email.”

When Susan Rice stupidly wrote a memo to herself, she inadvertently confessed to a series of crimes that added the time line and inferences about what the outgoing Obama administration illegally concealed from incoming President Trump and his aides.

After-the-fact memos are rarely a good idea....they reveal things the author never intended——as did Susan Rice in her now-infamous email to herself on Trump’s inauguration day.

Suzan skipped down the Yellowbrick Road, along with the mental midgets of the Obama Administration.
Obama’s FBI, DOJ, ODNI, CIA and intelligence officials flipped a finger at protocol....and even worse ....they were intentionally dishonest with incoming President Trump and key members of his new administration.
Obviously their lack of honesty was a serious issue.......but flipping off established protocol had serious ramifications.

This was a “justification memo”......outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice needed to explain why there have been multiple false and misleading statements given to the incoming President Trump and all of his officials.

This is not a “CYA” memo, this is a justification memo for use AFTER the Trump-Russia collusion/conspiracy narrative collapsed; if the impeachment effort failed.
Her intellectually facile “By-The-Book” reference -refers to both she and then-President Obama being told by CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director Comey, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, that President Trump was the subject of an active counterintelligence investigation to determine if he was under the influence of the Russian government. But they NEVER told candidate Trump about it.

Even the timing of Rice’s Oz-ish memo, written 15 minutes prior to the end of the Obama administration, is ex-post-facto useful as evidence of the author’s intent.......as Suzan stupidly confesses to a host of crimes.

What people miss about Susan Rice and her need to write that last memo is her attempt to craft a record of a ‘COUNTER-INTEL’ operation that was ongoing and that Obama had instructed that everything be done ‘by the book’.
What is missing is that during a counter-intel investigation, it is permissible to lie, or in official terms ‘to disseminate disinformation’.

As long as the Obama spying was characterized as a counter-intel operation, it was legal to have words and actions left in place that might be discovered as untrue.
In other words, Rice’s final memo was an attempt to carve out a last minute get-out-of-jail pass for all those involved in the spying.

Rice likely foresaw that Congressional hearings might uncover false and perjured statements on the part of persons in the spy operation to which the response would be “So what? It was a Counter-Intel operation.”

This is why it was IMPERATIVE for Barr and Durham to investigate the ORIGINS because if the origins revealed no predicate, no basis, no genuine probable cause for launching a counter-intel operation, then Rice’s feeble stay-out-of-jail memo would fall apart.

I guess this could be described as “mostly criminal”.

I think Trump is waiting until after the election to fire Wray. Grenell would be a pefect pick to clean up the FBI.

I’m sure there would be many rank and file agents who would be more than happy to welcome him, too.

I had no idea Grenell was openly gay, nor did I care.
I only know he did an excellent job as acting DNI.

1/21/2021 needs to be NATIONAL MASS FIRINGS DAY in Washington, D.C.

It must. Trump cannot repeat his first-term mistake or they'll just tie him down in Lilliputian fashion for another four years.

“Mental midgets” was my impression of them after studying the FBI lovers’ texts as well as the Wikileaks emails of Hillary's campaign team. Also, Brennan struck me as a man who was not bright enough to hold his position. Frankly, had Flynn and Trump been as familiar with DC swamp behavior as Pence (who benefitted by Flynn's takedown to this day) they wouldn't have fallen for the silly plot Yates pulled on them. That was the most clever move and she is much smarter than the whole midget crew.

Yes, but why would it even be justifiable to run a counter-intel operation on the newly elected president in the first place? That can only be seen as political persecution, especially since they set Trump up with the phony dossier.

Remember when we had the house we had Paul Ryan in charge. He hated Trump even more than Pelosi. He did everything in his power to stop Trump. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out he and a lot of the other Never Trumpers are filthy dirty and up to their necks in the collusion delusion
