A Navy sailor is being eyed in connection to the massive four-day fire on the USS Bonhomme Richard that investigators suspect may have been set intentionally.
Navy investigators searched the unidentified sailors home to look for any links to the blaze that caused substantial damage to the ship, multiple sources told ABC 10News.
Despite the development, Navy officials have kept mum on the status of their probe.

If so and it is proven, I kinda called it when I semi jokingly said “USS Miami redux?”
Maybe he can make restitution?
Keel Haul the Arsonist(s) when located and do it off the kommieformia coast in the middle of the known Shark Zone.

Is he a follower of mo’bomb-head? (Pieces of pork and pig snot be upon him.)
His name and photo please.
Someone didn’t want to go on deployment.
If true, someone needs to get lost at sea!
CCP?
It wasn't ready to deploy. They were modifying the flight deck and upgrading systems to handle a new aircraft.
Back in the early 80’s aboard my DDG (Guided Missile Destroyer) a young seaman went biserk in port. He took a fog tip applicator used for fire fighting and beat the hell out of everything on the bridge. At the time I served duty as the Master at Arms and had to take him to the Naval Station brig. He just happened to have destroyed the electronics equipment (radar repeater) that I was responsible for maintaining. I asked him why he did it. His response, “I hate the Captain.” One lone sailor ... imagine what a lone whacked out sailor can do!
If true the guy can rot in the bilge somewhere. But a lot of us still remember the IOWA investigation. So I will withhold my judgement until I see the report.
Yep. My first thought as well.
Sabotage happens and the bigger the ship the easier it is to conceal. And being in port was a whole lot tougher for a sailor than at sea. For thi7se who have never been to sea, its a sobering feeling, once the shore disappears, even nut jobs realize the ship is their only dry haven until they get back.
Is his name Ahmed Muhammed Mohammed?
why assume its a guy?
If it is they will never figure out a motive.
