White House counselor Kellyanne Conway suggested Wednesday that President Donald Trump might postpone his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention due to concerns about Hurricane Laura’s potentially devastating impact on the Gulf Coast.

Asked whether Trump would delay his headliner address set to take place on Thursday, the final night of Republicans’ four-day nominating event, Conway told reporters that campaign officials would not rule out a possible adjustment to the convention schedule.

Several counties in Western Alabama are under Tornado risk Tomorrow night and Friday.

My county is included. Going to be prepping tomorrow.

POTUS has a reschedule rally in NH on Friday. I don’t see how he postpones this again.

Kellyanne should just pack her damn desk and be quiet. She has a history of shooting off her mouth for the attention.

The hurricane has come on shore ... let’s not panic.

By speech time we’ll know how much devastation. Probably less than hyped, with almost no one living there. Lots of rain, but fast moving. Less surge I —who knows nothing—predict.

And, more peeps than normal will have TV on. Incorporate relief into the evenings agenda. This shouldn’t come close to a Katrina.

Because it worked so well in 2008 for McCain? He won’t postpone.

Kamala’s rebuttal: I had to travel all the way to DC to give my rebuttal, and Trump chickened out just because of some dumb hurricane in one of those...other states. Deplorables get thrown up in the air and land on their heads. Big deal. A few people drown or become homeless. Now they know how it feels to be black...oh, they are black? He’s only caring about them to get their votes! He doesn’t have any empathy.

What should he do in those 30 minutes if he postpones the speech? What he could do is use the speech to aid and comfort those who have been victims of the hurricane. He could tell the American people what steps are being taken by FEMA to help those in need. Don’t postpone the speech, just redirect it.

Well, it’s nowhere as bad as CNN was making it out to be (I should have known); yes, on with the show

It's pretty bad but what's Trump supposed to do? FEMA is already on the job, local authorities are assessing matter, if more help is needed then it'll be sent. Postponing the speech accomplishes nothing. He'll probably toss in a word or two on the hurricane and move on from there.
