White House counselor Kellyanne Conway suggested Wednesday that President Donald Trump might postpone his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention due to concerns about Hurricane Laura’s potentially devastating impact on the Gulf Coast.
Asked whether Trump would delay his headliner address set to take place on Thursday, the final night of Republicans’ four-day nominating event, Conway told reporters that campaign officials would not rule out a possible adjustment to the convention schedule.

Or adapt to the situation. complete the task in minimal time and focus on the storm.

This hurricane sounds Katrina Like - and you KNOW they will make Trump out to be Bush all over again ....
I think given the format of the Convention, there is more flexibility, so Trump can give his speech at the best possible time.
Trump should reconvene Congress to pass move FEMA aid ... Nancy currently, won’t even pick up the phone ... he needs to get in front of this
yes, postpone it and use Thursday’s time slot to highlight Federal storm assistance, Fema etc
This GOP convention shows the new campaign manager Stepien is so much better than Pascale ( I’ve got 1 million people coming to Tulsa rally-city of 400,000-he got snookered on that) -also he stays in background as campaign managers should and Parscale wanted to be the news
If he put this on, he deserves every penny - CNN says the RNC has done a “complete makeover” of Trump ...

Americans helping each other is a wonderful powerful message when God gives you a Hurricane go with it.

That’d be great! But postponing it could be a smart tactic as it might improve the chance of it being seen by some who aren’t watching the convention.

If anything, you may have more casualties from this in Tennessee and Virginia when it gets up there.

Replace it. Replace it with a live stream of Trump coordinating federal response to the hurricane. You just know Rats are salivating over the opportunity to attack Trump’s lack of response to a natural disaster. It’s in their playbook under Katrina. Showing Trump with complete transparency being an executive would take this play away from the Rats. Trump just needs to be himself.
